MMA‘s Great Debate Radio returns for UFC 165 fight week with guests including Eddie Wineland and Bellator fighter Ben Saunders as well as the best debate in MMA.
Wineland joins us Tuesday to discuss his fight against Renan Barao and the long road back to a title shot after being the first ever WEC bantamweight champion several years ago.
He will also update the status of his epic mustache that was on display prior to his last fight scheduled in the UFC.
Also on the show, Bellator welterweight Ben Saunders gives a blistering interview about his upcoming fight against Douglas Lima and the frustration he’s felt sitting out the last several months without competing.
Finally, the debate opens up Tuesday talking about the newly scheduled lightweight title fight between Anthony Pettis and Josh Thomson. We will also discuss what this does to TJ Grant and his chance to fight for the belt when he returns.
Tuesday’s debate topics include:
- TJ Grant still injured, the UFC assigns Anthony Pettis vs. Josh Thomson. Good move by the UFC?
- When TJ Grant returns, should he get an immediate title shot or have to fight again?
- Royce Gracie criticized his family recently and says they have gotten away from their jiu-jitsu roots. Does he have a point?
- What is the fight you’re most looking forward to at UFC 165?
