A day after we learned that newcomers Bruno Santos and Krzysztof Jotko are set to meet at UFC Fight Night 33 in Australia, we found out that another pair will make their UFC debuts on the same card.

MMAJunkie.com reports that two international prospects, Canada’s Alex Garcia and Sweden’s Andreas Stahl, will meet Down Under. Both are highly touted prospects who will bolster an already stacked welterweight division.

Garcia (10-1) has long been considered a top prospect out of Canada. Known as “The Dominican Nightmare,” he is noted for his powerful striking and underrated ground game.

Garcia trains at Tristar with the likes of fellow welterweights Georges St-Pierre, Rory MacDonald and Ryan Ford. His only career loss came against UFC employee Seth Baczynski back in early 2011.

As for Stahl (9-0), the undefeated Swede has been pro since 2009 but is yet to get a marquee victory on his resume. He has been training with Alliance with fellow Swede Alexander Gustafsson, so that may have swayed his signing.

This fight should be interesting. Most of Stahl‘s wins are by decision, though he has finished in his last two. He has yet to face a powerful, well-rounded fighter like Garcia, who is well-trained and dangerous.

This fight figures to be contested on the feet, as that is where both men are comfortable. That being said, if it goes to the ground, it may be competitive, though I trust Garcia’s top game more.

With the UFC’s current signing rampage, fans can be certain to see more signings in the near future. For all the latest updates, stay tuned with Bleacher Report for more news.
