Ronda Rousey has agreed to give Cat Zingano all of the early training slots so she can spend time with her 6-year-old son during filming for The Ultimate Fighter Season 18.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champ recently confirmed the news to TMZ.com:

“Enjoy the convenience of your free time in the afternoon and evenings, but don’t expect me to be so nice the night of the fight!”

Zingano earned a UFC title shot and an opportunity to serve as a coach on TUF 18 after her “Fight of the Night” performance against Miesha Tate at the TUF 17 Finale.

She is expected to bring her son along with her on the trip to Las Vegas to film the show. On Monday, she reached out to Rousey on Twitter asking if it would be okay if she took all of the earlier training sessions so that she could feed and put her son to bed at a decent hour.

Rousey may have an appetite for tearing off limbs and messing up pretty faces, but deep down, she has always had a heart of gold.

As a favor to Zingano, Team Rousey will be taking all of the late training sessions when the show begins filming.

TUF 18 is expected to debut on FOX Sports 1 on September 4, which means filming will begin in just a few weeks. The season will feature both men and women bantamweight fighters living in the same house.

According to MMA Mania, several big names in women’s MMA were present at the tryouts, including Tara LaRosa, Roxanne Modafferi, Kim Couture and Shayna Baszler.

It’s safe to say Zingano‘s hands will soon be full with looking after a child and training some of the best fighters in the world.
