While Nate Diaz is just one week away from his “BMF” title fight with Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 in New York City, all of the attention these past few days have revolved around a pesky United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) drug test.

In short, Diaz popped for trace amounts of a banned substance and then went super saiyan on social media by professing his innocence and removing himself from UFC 244 altogether. Diaz then asked UFC president Dana White to clear his name before he ever steps foot inside of the Octagon again. Luckily, Diaz was eventually exonerated by USADA and UFC 244’s main event is back on track.

During the entire process, Diaz received tremendous support from the MMA community. Even “Gamebred” reached out to let the Stockton fighter know he believes he’s clean. Adding to the outcry was none other than former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who took to Twitter late last night in defense of Diaz.

Rousey, who has deep roots in Diaz’s native state of California, also professed her hatred for PED users in general.

“Everyone knows you’re clean, f-ck cheaters, PEDs are for P-U-S-S-I-E-S,” wrote Rousey via Twitter.

With the support of his peers, and the promotion he works for, Diaz was able to force USADA’s hand and make them overturn his case in less than a few days. That’s downright incredible considering USADA often wins these battles or at least takes some time to review its findings, but when the “BMF” title is on the line things tend to get done quicker.

It’s safe to say that all of Diaz’s supporters, including Rousey, will be rooting for the welterweight to edge out “Gamebred” next weekend at UFC 244 and take home the title of “Baddest Motherf—ker.”
