Becoming the UFC’s first woman champion came with a lot of pressure and responsibility, so some wondered whether or not Rousey could continue her success through all of the distractions that came along with her increased exposure as a member of the world’s top MMA organization.
In her Octagon debut against Liz Carmouche, Rousey answered the questions with yet another first-round armbar win. Someday, an opponent is going to find a way to stifle Rousey’s seemingly unstoppable armbar attack, but the women’s bantamweight champion appears determined to continue her trend.
