Jason “Mayhem” Miller is one of the most recognizable fighters in MMA today.
Despite having only one UFC fight in his career, Miller has stayed relevant in the public through his memorable fight entrances, nearly getting beat down by Nick and Nate Diaz, and by being the host of Bully Beatdown.
Miller got even more recognition when he coached against Michael Bisping on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Miller was able to hold his own against the TUF vet; at times Miller even came out looking like the better coach.
If Miller can get a win against Bisping, he will not only prove he was the better coach on the show, but he could be pushed as one of the UFC’s top middleweight contenders.
One of the main reasons Miller could get this push is because he fights in a division that appears weak.
Thanks to top contenders either losing to Anderson Silva or not having a good enough record to even fight Silva, Miller’s chances of getting a title shot in the future are pretty good.
Defeating Bisping would be a good start for Miller.
Although he still would need another win or two against some of the division’s top fighters, beating Bisping would give Miller a much-needed win over one of the best fighters in the world.
A win over Bisping would also make Miller one of the most popular fighters in the world.
At this point Bisping is one of the most hated fighters in the world. Shutting him up would make a lot of MMA fans happy.
Although the winners of the show should have the most to gain, even fighters who did not make it to the finals of their fights can walk out of the finale with a UFC contract.
Miller has the chance to prove not only that he belongs in the UFC, but also that he can be a huge force both inside and outside the Octagon.
