Has Nick Diaz really called it quits, or is this just another one of his childish acts?

Bleacher Report contributor Corey believes that the welterweight fighter Nick Diaz will be back in the Octagon soon. A fighter of his caliber does not stay out of the game for long.

Since beginning his career in 2001, Diaz has amassed a record of 27 wins, eight losses and one draw. Diaz is not one to just walk away from the Octagon when he is in his prime. The competitor and athlete in Diaz will make his retirement short-lived.

However, Matt feels that despite being an elite talent in the ring, outside of the Octagon Diaz is rather childish, having failed many drug tests and holding a medical marijuana card.

His most recent suspension may have been his last straw. But Diaz is too popular and talented to declare his retirement.

Corey believes that Diaz is too hungry for a shot at his rival Georges St-Pierre to retire early. If UFC president Dana White will grant his reinstatement, there is a lot of money to be made on both sides.
