As easy as you think it looks on TV, MMA moves take practice and time to perfect. Watch as UFC veteran James Wilks gives Bleacher Report a demonstration of his unique style.

This week he shows us the keys to tying up an opponent’s arms so they can’t defend a knee to the face.

First, you use a Thai clinch, then a knee in the torso helps you snap the fighter down, leading you right into a guillotine position.

Then, instead of holding the guillotine, you shoot both your arms under your opponent’s armpits and use the Gable grip to lock this position.

Then your hips come back as a knee to the face finishes it off. As simple as this sounds, this can take years for fighters to perfect. Take it from a pro like Wilks and learn to improve your MMA game with this video.
