When UFC heavyweight contenders Junior Dos Santos and Shane Carwin square off in the main event of UFC 131, fans will be expecting fireworks.
With 13 fights on each of their records, only Dos Santos (12-1) has been the distance once in his career. Carwin (12-1) has never been the distance. They both have a combined 15 knockouts in 24 wins between them.
Carwin was a late-replacement for former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, who coached on the opposing team of the last season of the Ultimate Fighter. Santos was the other coach.
The fight card will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and it’s sure to be one exciting night of fights that should end with fireworks.
