This Saturday, Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit will battle for an interim welterweight title in the main event of UFC 143 in Las Vegas.

However, the developers of the newest UFC video game have already pitted virtual versions of Diaz and Condit against one another to determine which fighter is most likely to win and potentially earn a title-merging fight with 170-pound kingpin Georges St-Pierre.

In the video game prediction, which simulated 25 fights between the UFC 143 headliners, Diaz defended 48 percent of Condit’s takedowns. However, when Condit did take the fight to the ground, Diaz submitted the Greg Jackson-trained fighter in seven of the 25 simulations.

Known for his unique but effective boxing skills, Diaz will has likely been working hard on his takedown defense for this fight. However, if the Cesar Gracie student is taken to the ground, he is equally dangerous off of his back.

The final prediction made by UFC Undisputed 3 for Saturday’s main event was a second-round submission victory for Diaz.

Available in stores on Feb. 14, UFC Undisputed 3 is the latest installment of UFC video games from THQ.
