Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche are set to headline UFC 157 in the first women’s MMA bout in UFC history.
As the final Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion, Rousey was awarded the UFC title prior to this fight and will defend it at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Saturday.
The main event isn’t the only big fight on the solid UFC 157 fight card, though.
Lyoto Machida and Dan Henderson will battle for a light heavyweight title shot. The winner of the bout between those top 205-pound contenders will be next in line to meet the winner of a championship fight between champion Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.
