Georges St-Pierre will attempt to make history at UFC 167, an event that is already inherently celebrating 20 years of UFC history.

With a win over Johny Hendricks on Saturday, St-Pierre would break the record for career wins in UFC title fights. Currently, St-Pierre is tied with Anderson Silva at 11 championship bout victories.

In recent years, Silva became almost unanimously recognized as the best fighter in UFC history. By separating himself from Silva in an important category, St-Pierre may start getting more recognition in debates regarding the best fighter to ever grace the Octagon now that “The Spider” has been dethroned.

The UFC 167 fight card will also feature a potential title-shot eliminator between St-Pierre teammate Rory MacDonald and Robbie Lawler.

On Thursday, several fighters will join UFC president Dana White for a UFC 167 pre-fight press conference. Once the media event starts at around 4 p.m. ET, it can be viewed live on the above video player.
