The landmark UFC 200 event is now in the books as the card went down last night (July 9, 2016) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brazilian Amanda Nunes shocked the masses in the main event by absolutely destroying now former champion Miesha Tate. Nunes scored a first round submission victory and walked away with not only the 135-pound title, but a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus as well.

Earlier on the main card, former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez made his return after a disappointing loss an injury setback. Despite the rough times, Velasquez appeared to be in vintage form, bulldozing through Travis Browne to earn a first round finish. The former title holder was given a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for his efforts.

The Fight Pass preliminary portion of the card featured three consecutive finishes capped off by a first round destruction by Joe Lauzon over Diego Sanchez. “J-Lau” received a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus as well. Prior to that, former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi drilled Thiago Santos with a lethal right hand to earn a first round TKO victory of his own. He too was given a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus.
