Following a strong effort against Chris Weidman in July, Lyoto Machida took his first step last Saturday toward a rematch with the champion.
It took Machida 62 seconds to put C.B. Dollaway down. The Dragon landed a brutal kick to Dollaway’s body and followed up with punches to end the bout quickly.
Heading into the weekend, Dollaway had won two in a row and made an unexpected run into the middleweight rankings. On Saturday, we learned that The Doberman still isn’t quite ready to be a serious contender.
