More than three years since he last stepped into the Octagon, Mirko Cro Cop will return to the world’s top MMA organization at UFC Fight Night 64 on Saturday.
The Croatian won’t be returning with just any matchup, though. He’ll have a chance to avenge an April 2007 loss to Gabriel Gonzaga, the most memorable loss in Cro Cop’s long and storied MMA career.
With losses in two straight bouts, Gonzaga has been headed in the opposite direction. Napao is still ranked among the Top 15 UFC heavyweights, but he could potentially lose his spot on the UFC roster with a bad loss this weekend.
