UFC Lightweight George Sotiropoulos Underwent Success Knee Surgery Hopes To Return To Training In A Month

Australian lightweight fighter George Sotiropoulos had been scheduled to appear at last months UFC 144 event versus Takanori Gomi at the Japanese event but was sidelined by an injury. Sotiropoulos reveals that he suffered a broken toe while sparring. He took the time to have a few other injuries looked at and it turned out he needed knee surgery. Now the Aussie is on the mend and hopes to return to training in about a month.
