According to UFC.com, a featherweight bout between Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres and Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia has been setup for UFC on Versus 5 in Milwaukee on August 14. The bout was verbally agreed by both parties as of Tuesday, the website confirms.
Garcia, who debuted for the company in 2007, competed at lightweight before dropping down to the featherweight division in the WEC, compiling a record of 4-3-1. Garcia returned to the UFC last year, that saw him earn a controversial decision over Nam Phan at “The Ultimate Finale 12”. More recently, fans saw Garcia lose to Chan Sung Jung via submission at UFC Fight Night 24.
Coincidentally Caceres made his debut at UFC Fight Night 24 that saw him end in defeat via submission to Mackens Semerzier.
Both competitors will look to rebound with a win, as they look to remain relevant in the featherweight division.
