With every decision comes a consequence and for those fighters who took part in battle at UFC on FOX 19, it’s their time to face those consequences in the form of medical suspensions.
The more notable suspensions were Rashad Evans being out for 30 days, Raquel Pennington being out for the same amount of time with a right eye laceration. Also, Court McGee and Manny Gamburyan are out for 30 days. Oluwale Bamgbose is out for 180 days.
UFC on FOX 19 took place on April 16th at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. The preliminary card aired on Fight Pass and FOX while the main card aired on FOX. The main event was Rashad Evans vs. Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight bout.
Here are the entire medical suspensions:
Rashad Evans: suspended 30 days
Darrell Horcher: suspended 60 days for hard fight
Raquel Pennington: suspended 30 days for right eye laceration
Court McGee: suspended 30 days
Randy Brown: suspended 30 days with 21 days no contact
Michael Graves: suspended pending left-hand X-ray
Manny Gamburyan: suspended 30 days
Oluwale Bamgbose: suspended 180 days pending CT scan and suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Omari Akhmedov: suspended 45 days for eye laceration
