Phil Davis is prepared to utilize his wrestling skills against Rashad Evans when the two light heavyweights square off at UFC on FOX 2 later this month.
The former Penn State alumni is currently undefeated in the UFC, sporting a 6-0 record inside the Octagon, and he hopes to remain that way with a win over Evans.
FightHubTV.com caught up with “Mr.Wonderful” during a training session to watch Davis implement wrestling drills and techniques.
Davis and Evans were originally set to meet last August at UFC 133 before a knee injury prevented Davis from competing. The two competitors have recently built up a rivalry since then, when both Evans and Davis traded words back and forth at a UFC on FOX press conference.
The winner between Evans and Davis is scheduled to challenge UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
