The UFC is in Brazil for its first event of 2013. The card, which will be broadcast on FX on Saturday night, will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping.
A Bisping win will earn him a long-desired shot at UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, while Belfort is most likely fighting for little more than pride. Well, pride and a hefty paycheck.
The two fighters had a heated staredown following Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, so things could get interesting when they face off again after Friday’s weigh-ins. The weigh-ins will take place on Friday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. ET from Sao Paulo’s Ginasio Estadual Geraldo Jose de Almeida and Bleacher Report will have the results as they happen.
