When UFC president Dana White went on The Arsenio Hall Show and was asked how Floyd Mayweather Jr. would do against top UFC competition, White had a simple response: “He’d get murdered.”
Mayweather holds an undefeated 45-0 professional boxing record and is the unquestioned No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world. White was quick to bring up how different the sports are and that Mayweather fighting in the UFC would be like bringing a knife to a gun fight. He believes comparison scenarios in which a fighter easily crosses over bring both sports disrespect and injustice.
