It looks like Tito Ortiz has big plans in mind for his next appearance inside the Bellator MMA cage.

During a recent Fight Hub TV interview (see above), Ortiz mentioned three big potential matches for his next fight.

“I respect Royce [Gracie] so much, that’s the only reason I would want to compete against him,” said Ortiz. “It’s nothing bad against him. I really, really like the guy but I just think his name is such a huge name, it’d make sense for my last fight but he don’t want to do it.”

Regarding a potential meeting with the fellow UFC legend, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” appeared to acknowledge that it wasn’t a realistic option.

“I guess I don’t want to do it either, so let’s make an interesting fight,” said Ortiz, suggesting that if it can’t be Royce, it still needs to be someone that would make things interesting for all involved.

Apparently Ortiz has put some thought into it, as he followed up with two other names that are currently under contract to the Bellator MMA organization.

“Let’s see if Fedor can get down to 205,” said Ortiz, before quickly dropping another name. “Rampage. Rampage kind of talked smack his last fight saying that he’ll fight me no matter what. Okay, let it be. Let’s see him get down to 205.”

Tito Ortiz last fought back in September of 2015, dropping his first fight since joining the Bellator ranks. Ortiz was defeated by Liam McGeary in the first round of their fight for the Bellator Light Heavyweight Title at Bellator MMA & Glory: Dynamite 1.
