Fresh off of his knockout win at UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs Imavov, Abdul Razak Alhassan took the post-fight press conference by storm as he called out his former rival, Joaquin Buckley to a rematch in an explicitly filled rant.
“I want to fight that b**ch ass Buckley again,” Alhassan said. “If anybody sees him, tell him I say he’s a f***ing b**ch. He’s a p**sy. He’s a f***ing p**sy like the biggest p**sy,” […] And we had an agreement. Let’s go on in the center of the ring. Let’s f***ing bang and see who the f**k is gonna go down first. That b**ch felt one punch and was like, uh, let me take you down. You’re a b**ch, Buckley. But if you’re watching this, you’re a b**ch. I want to whoop your ass. I saw you a f***ing b**ch.
Abdul Razak Alhassan believes Buckley turned into a wrestler after feeling his power
Abdul Razak Alhassan and Buckley met at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Hill back in February 2022. MMA fans were itching to see these two knockout artists throw down. All 12 of Alhassan’s wins have come via KO or TKO, while Buckley isn’t far behind with 11 KO or TKO wins out of 15.
Alhassan seemed to believe that there was an unwritten agreement the two would stand and bang and see who is the superior knockout artist, but when Buckley began to take him down and out grapple him to a split decision win.
“His b**ch ass felt my power and was like, ‘I don’t want this I’m gonna take you down, you’re a b**ch, Buckley,” Alhassan said. “I hope you see this. If I see him in the street and he talks s**t. I swear to God; I will show you the f***ing African. I will smack the f**k out of you. I swear. I’ll treat you like you’re a b**ch.”
Abdul Razak Alhassan finished his eloquent rant by calling Buckley out for a rematch.
“I want a rematch with that f***ng b**ch so I can f**k him up. Buckley, you are b**ch if you’re a man, come and fight me again,” Alhassan said. “You are a b**ch again.”
The build-up to UFC 305 on August 17 is sure to have some tense moments due to the grudge match that will take place in the main event. Dricus Du Plessis knew that he was going to be stirring the pot when he said that by becoming the middleweight champion, he would be the first […]
Dricus Du Plessis knew that he was going to be stirring the pot when he said that by becoming the middleweight champion, he would be the first true African to hold gold.
What he meant was that unlike the likes of Kamaru Usman, Francis Ngannou and Israel Adesanya, who he faces in Perth, he has become champion whilst still living and training out of South Africa.
Adesanya took major issue with these comments but they will finally get the chance to settle the score in their upcoming clash.
Unsurprisingly, “The Last Stylebender” wasn’t the only fighter on the roster with African roots that feels offended by what Du Plessis had to say.
Abdul Razak Hassan Launches Into Fired-Up Rant About Dricus Du Plessis’ Comments
Abdul Razak Alhassan is set to make his return this weekend in Denver when he takes on Cody Brundage and looks to bounce back from a defeat last time out.
During his media day interviews, the middleweight livewire was asked for his opinion on the conversation based on the fact that he represents Ghana.
What followed was an incredibly passionate and heated speech from Alhassan about Du Plessis’s words.
He believes that the middleweight champion would not have said these things if he knew what it meant to truly be African and battle through tough living situations early on in life.
“I respect the things he’s done in MMA but he’s a f****** b****, he’s a f****** a****** for that word that he used right. If he’s a f****** real African and he lived in Africa, he would have never used that f****** word, he’s a f****** b**** a** to use that word because an African, if he was raised with the poor people in Africa, the way I was raised, the way I grew up with how I go days without food. I have to go see my friends eating and I be like, ‘Hey bro can you give me one teaspoon of your food so I can put it in my mouth?’ That’s how I’ll survive for a few days until I can get money.
“So if we get opportunity to leave that s***hole, of course I’m sorry, I’m not trying to call my country a s***hole but I’m poor. If I can go to America or I can go to a different country to make a better life for myself, I’ll f****** cut off my leg to f****** go. If he is a true African, he would have understood that. That means he was living the comfortable life, his family had the money to feed him everyday so he didn’t have to worry about leaving to go and make it so for him to say he’s the true African champion that lived there and he made it, he’s a f****** b**** for saying that. I respect what he’s done but he’s a b**** for that.”

Detroit Urban Survival Commander, Dale Brown surprised everyone when he was in Joaquin Buckley’s corner.
Brown was considered a joke to many on social media for his defense techniques, but Buckely wanted to see it first-hand. After going to Brown and working with him, he began gaining respect for him and ended up having him in his corner for his UFC Vegas 48 fight against Abdul Razak Alhassan.
Buckley ended up winning the fight by split decision and Brown says the KO artists used some of his techniques in the scrap.
“I will say he did use some techniques that are associated with my training,” Brown said to TMZ Sports.
With Dale Brown now being 1-0 as a cornerman, he says other UFC fighters have reached out about him training them.
“We’ve had several just the past couple of days reaching out, emailing, texting, trying to reach out and see if they can come by the facility and see what we can do to coordinate and collaborate,” Brown said.
However, even though several UFC fighters have reached out to him, Brown says he will only work with Buckley, as he is loyal to him.
“We’re #teamBuckley so that’s not gonna happen,” Brown said.
With Buckley beating Alhassan with Brown in his corner, he improved to 14-4 as a pro and is riding a two-fight winning streak. He’s also 4-2 inside the Octagon. But with him getting the win, perhaps he goes back to the D.U.S.T. commander next time out. As the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and Buckley had success against Alhassan so perhaps he runs back his exact same corner for his next fight.

UFC middleweight striker, Joaquin Buckley has revealed the reasoning regarding his decision to host Detriot Urban Survival Training self-defense instructor, Dale Brown in his corner at UFC Vegas 48 last weekend, claiming that the practitioner’s techniques are also well advised.
Buckley, who opened the UFC Apex facility’s main card, managed to narrowly survive a late rally against Abdul Razak Alhassan to score a close split decision victory against the Ghana-born knockout kingpin.
The victory came as Buckley’s second consecutively, following a third round knockout win against Antonio Arroyo last year – which returned him to the winner’s enclosure.
UFC middleweight Sean Strickland recently called out and questioned Dale Brown and his techniques
However, Buckley hit the headlines during fight week ahead of UFC Vegas 48, with reports detailing how the aforenoted self-defense instructor, Brown would be cornering him for his fight with Alhassan.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Joaquin Buckley revealed his reasoning for starring Brown in his corner, intending to capitalize on Brown’s recent viral success.
“We just started brainstorming, what if I put this man (Dale Brown) in my corner?” Joaquin Buckley said. “What type of impact would that make? After that, history was made on Feb. 19. When everything started blowing up the way that it did, I reached out to him and was like, ‘Hey, would you be cool being in my corner?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, I think we’ll pretty much blow up the internet.’ which we did. It went crazy.”
“He was down from the get-go,” Joaquin Buckley said. “Shout out to Dale Brown. He’s a cool dude, he gets a lot of negativity about the things that he’s doing but he’s legit in the self-defense and security game (for) 26 years. He was a military paratrooper, he knows what he’s talking about. He’s been in the game for a minute.”
Following his close decision victory over Alhassan, Buckley maintained that he was now only interested in securing his next bout – against an opponent with equal or more followers than him across social media.

Landing a close split decision victory, Joaquin Buckley managed to survive a late third round onslaught from Abdul Razak Alhassan — handing the Accra native a judging defeat in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 48.
Buckley, who was joined by Detroit Urban Survival self-defense coach, Dale Brown in his corner tonight, managed to avoid a lot of Alhassan’s heavier shots on the feet, however, as the bout rolled on, the Ghanaian managed to land some notable ground strikes against Buckley.
Forced to the distance, the renowned knockout artists were only separated courtesy of a close split (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) decision victory, with a few notable takedowns from Buckely lodging prior hay in the barn for a decision win.
