As most of us have heard by now, Jake Paul is once again expected to face Tommy Fury after their previous two fight bookings never ended up happening.

Hopefully the third time will be the charm? They are slated for a showdown next month on February 25, and the older brother of Tommy, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has chimed in on what he expects out of Tommy going into the bout.

Michael Benson posted the following to his Twitter account from an interview Tyson Fury did with TalkSport:

“It’s gonna be fun and I expect Tommy to chin him (knock Paul out). And if he doesn’t, he can stay in Saudi Arabia.”

Fury vs Paul is intended to go down in Saudi Arabia, more or less meaning Tyson will disown his little brother for losing to someone like Paul, which is rather comical.

Paul has gone 6-0 thus far into his professional boxing career, securing four knockouts in that time, while Fury has gone 8-0, also with four knockouts thus far into his young career. We though we were past this point the last time Tommy withdrew from a fight with Paul back in December of 2021, where Paul ended up fighting Tyron Woodley for the second time, but here we are again.

Do you think Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury goes down as planned? If so, who wins?

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has recently gone on record calling out former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to a mixed rules boxing bout.

There has been talk of a boxing match between the undefeated Englishman and hardest hitting human in recorded history for a while now, and now that Ngannou’s a free agent with his UFC release being granted, it could be the perfect opportunity to make this fight happen.

Fury has been without a dance partner since winning his trilogy with Derek Chisora back in December of last year, and there has been talk of Ngannou making his boxing debut against the former intercontinental champion as well.

Fury is also working on a title unification bout opposing WBA, IBF, WBO, Ring Magazine, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Nonetheless, should negotiations for those fights go south, Fury has made Ngannou the following offer, posted on Twitter by Michael Benson:

“If the contract doesn’t get signed with Oleksandr Usyk, then we’ll do the Ngannou fight.”

The cage may be a strange touch to put on a fight like this, as well as four ounce gloves. That being said, who wouldn’t want to see it? We’ve got perhaps the no. 1 heavyweight boxer on the planet and the proven no. 1 mixed martial artist on the planet that is capable of knocking any living man in the world today unconscious.

Would you like to see Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou in the near future?

Cameroon’s Ngannou is the former UFC heavyweight world champion who recently walked away from the organization. The 36-year-old athlete cited that it was not just about the money for him, but he was advocating for fighters to have sponsors, health insurance, and an advocate.

Since stepping away from the UFC, Francis Ngannou is the hottest free agent in combat sports and is highly interested in a boxing match.

Kalle Sauerland says Francis Ngannou vs. Derek Chisora has been offered

In a recent interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Misfits Boxing promoter Kalle Sauerland confirmed that there is an offer for Francis Ngannou to fight under the promotion and would start his career against Derek Chisora. Sauerland said:

“I’d love to sign him, I think he’d fit perfectly in with our crossover stuff with Misfits. We can build him on there, bring over Derek Chisora, a big fight like that you know? There’s a lot of good fights for him … Mams [Taylor] is speaking to their people. I’m sure a lot of people are speaking to their people, but I think we can offer him something unique. I’m not involved, but my partner Mams is discussing with his people, yes.”

Kalle Sauerland and Mams Taylor both work with the KSI owned Misfits Boxing.

Derek Chisora is a heavyweight boxer who has gone 1-4 since 2020. Prior to that, he held national boxing titles in the UK plus the WBA International heavyweight title. Most recently, Chisora is coming off a TKO loss to the boxing heavyweight king Tyson Fury in late 2022.

Jake Paul has recently expressed an interest in competing in mixed martial arts, evident from his recent PFL signing earlier this year.

The YouTube star turned boxer recently posted the following video to his Twitter account demonstrating him working on his wrestling:

Then of course there was another video posted by Michael Benson of Paul working his grappling, primarily his top control:

Jake Paul has made it to 6-0 as a professional boxer thus far into his career, including a short 1-0 run as an amateur.

Of his seven total wins, five come via knockout, the only two men he couldn’t finish were former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who he KO’d stiff in their rematch, and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, who had gone 3-0 since returning to the boxing ring, which included a win over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

And, it looks like Paul will have at least one more boxing fight prior to beginning his MMA career, as he has once again agreed to fight Tommy Fury, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

This fight is expected to take place on February 25, 2023.

Who would you like to see Jake Paul fight in his MMA debut?

Well, though he’s called out the likes of Nate Diaz, Donald Cerrone, and even former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, offering them a each a two-fight deal, one in boxing and the rematch in MMA, it’s doubtful any commission would sanction any of those bouts.
