“Thoughts on Tyson-Jake Paul? I actually have Tyson’s marijuana. I’m going to show love to Mike Tyson… This is Mike Tyson kush straight from his farm, I had someone go out and grab it for us. Mike Tyson, this is your stock.

I don’t give a b****ks. They’re wearing 14oz gloves and it’s two-minute rounds, is it? Who gives a b*****ks? I hope Mike rattles the little dope, no one gives a f**k about him. How is that even in the f**king Dallas stadium?” [Ht Middleeasy]

The next fight for Conor McGregor has long been in discussions but not confirmed. The UFC fighter has two more fights left on his UFC contract and is looking to fight out both in 2025 then is considering walking away from the organization.

Mike Tyson Takes Credit for Starting Jake Paul's Career—And Now He's Going to Finish It

Mike Tyson gave Jake Paul his first big break in the boxing ring.

Four years later, the two generational stars will collide in one of the most-watched fights in the sport’s history. Emanating from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Paul vs. Tyson will headline a loaded card airing live and exclusively on Netflix at no additional charge for the streaming giant’s 260 million+ subscribers.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul

While Tyson’s journey in the world of boxing came to an end nearly 20 years ago following a sixth-round loss to Kevin McBride, Paul’s has barely begun. Thus far, ‘The Problem Child’ is 10-1 with victories over a slew of past-their-prime MMA stars, including Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz.

But before all of those fights, Paul’s first noteworthy appearance inside the squared circle came against former NBA star Nate Robinson. Their clash was the co-main event of Tyson’s charity exhibition boxing bout against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.

Four years later things will come full circle as the former unified heavyweight world champion aims to end the career he helped start.

“I don’t know [why he wants to fight me]. I’m close to 60 years old,” Tyson said on the It Is What It Is podcast. “He’s going to get a lot of money as well. He’s improved since the first time he fought on my card. I started Jake off, I let him fight on my undercard a few years ago. No one knew who the hell he was. I started him and it looks like most likely I’m going to finish him” (h/t Middle Easy).

Roy Jones Jr. questions whether or not jake paul can take Mike Tyson’s power

Whether or not the 58-year-old icon can get the job done remains to be seen, but oddsmakers certainly don’t seem confident. As it stands, Paul is a more than 3-to-1 favorite to come out on top against ‘Iron’ in The Lone Star State. Still, some believe Tyson’s legendary power will be on full display leading to a complete and total backfire on the part of Paul.

“The first time he hit me in the chest, it felt like a mule had kicked me in the chest and if he hits anybody with a shot like that, they are either going out or down, especially guys who are not used to being hit like that,” Roy Jones Jr. said during an appearance on the Sugar Shane Show.

“With these types of people like Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, these guys are bigger and can take it. but Jake Paul, I don’t think he’s going to be able to take that. It might hit him on the chin like that, we’ll see, but it’s going to be tough” (The Sportster).

Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury were absolutely shocked to witness Daniel Dubois sleep Anthony Joshua cold Saturday night (Sept. 21, 2024). The Wembley Arena in London, England, exploded with a shocking uproar, and McGregor and Fury can be seen in a video with disbelief in their eyes.

The hype surrounding the event was palpable despite the fact that the super fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk was not on the card. An attendance record was set at the Wembley Arena that night, with 96,000 fans lining the stands. Some big stars came to see the fireworks as well, and they were not to be disappointed.

Many believed it would be a gritty fight, but Joshua would walk away as the victor. In fact, the betting lines supported that view as well, with Dubois being a moderate underdog with odds that fluctuated around +360.

Daniel Dubois shocks Conor McGregor, Tyson Fury, and the entire world

Daniel Dubois looked sharp and was unafraid of his opponent on Saturday night. He lived up to his nickname of ‘Dynamite’, and fans worldwide could tell Anthony Joshua struggled to withstand the pure power behind Dubois’ shots.

Early clips from the night captured Conor McGregor freaking out on the sidelines as Joshua was battered by his opponent.

Dubois landed a few knockdowns in the early rounds and looked to be having his way with Joshua. Then, in the fifth, it was time for the kill. Joshua landed a few good shots and had Dubois backed up into the corner of the ring. Joshua came forward and threw a single overhand right that landed but didn’t do significant damage. Dubois fired back with a right hook that also landed clean but didn’t do any real damage. Then, the moment of truth.

Joshua had allowed his hands to drop in the fray, and his head was wide open. Even worse, he began to wind up and telegraph an uppercut. Dubois simply just put everything he had into an overhand right, and it landed with stunning authority. Joshua was sent to the canvas, almost lifeless, and the arena erupted.

Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury’s reactions were caught on film, and let’s just say they were not too happy with the outcome.

Undefeated Irish Boxing Star Callum Walsh Scores Epic KO to Retain WBC Title in Dublin

Undefeated Irish boxing sensation Callum Walsh added another highlight-reel knockout to his resume on Friday night, successfully defending his WBC Continental Americas Super Welterweight title in the process.

Airing live on UFC Fight Pass and emanating from 3Arena in Dublin, it was Walsh’s first time headlining an event in his home country and the 23-year-old rising star definitely did not disappoint. Taking on seasoned veteran Przemyslaw Runowski, Walsh established his dominance from the get-go with a slew of power shots that had the Polish standout reeling early.

It was just a matter of time before ‘King’ landed the fight-ending blow.

That moment came with just over a minute left in the second round when Walsh uncorked a counter left hand that connected clean and sent Runowski crashing to the canvas.

With the win, Walsh kept his ‘O’ intact and moved to a perfect 12-0 with all but two of his wins coming by KO/TKO.

“Oh baby, this is unbelievable,” Walsh yelled as the sold-out crowd of 8,000 roared in the background. “What a night. The crowd is electric. What did they say? He’d never been stopped? Until he got hit by me.”

Callum Walsh Bringing a ‘UFC Mindset’ to the boxing game

Walsh has become a favorite of UFC CEO Dana White who has been in attendance for many of the Irishman’s fights, including Friday’s clash in the Emerald Isle. White also awarded Walsh a $5,000 bonus for his knockout of Runowski.

Dana White and Callum Walsh

I don’t pick and choose opponents. That’s why Dana is pushing me because he knows I’m bringing this UFC mindset,” Walsh told Aaron Bronster while discussing his relationship with White.

“I want to make these big fights happen and obviously, with Dana White helping and with a promoter like Tom Loeffler, I think we are going to change boxing a lot. I’m going to make these big fights happen” (h/t Essentially Sports).

UFC Star Israel Adesanya Locks in Big Bet on Anthony Joshua Late-Round KO Against Daniel Dubois

Israel Adesanya is backing Anthony Joshua to come out on top against Daniel Dubois.

On Saturday, Joshua will look to become a world champion for the third time when he challenges reigning IBF heavyweight titleholder, Daniel Dubois. More than 90,000 fans are expected to descend upon the iconic Wembley Stadium for one of the biggest boxing bouts of 2024.

Israel Adesanya bets on Anthony Joshua

Though he came up short in back-to-back bouts against Oleksandr Usyk, Joshua remains one of the division’s biggest names. Much of that has to do with his penchant for highlight-reel knockouts, like the one he handed former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in February.

Israel Adesanya bets on Anthony Joshua

The Watford, England native has bagged four straight victories since his last loss to Usyk, but a win over Dubois would undoubtedly be his biggest victory yet, assuming he can pull it off.

Adesanya drops 10k on Anthony Joshua to get the job done

One man who’s more than confident that Joshua will come out on top is two-time UFC middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya who placed a $10,000 bet on ‘AJ’ to score a finish somewhere between the 10th and 12th rounds. If Joshua gets the job done, ‘The Last Stylebender’ will be 50k richer.

Israel Adesanya bets on Anthony Joshua

“This fight got beef…grab the @Stake sauce,” Adesanya wrote on X.

With the UFC taking a week off following its critically acclaimed event at Sphere in Las Vegas, all eyes will be on Dubois vs. Joshua. Helping matters is the fact that Riyadh Season organizer Turki Alalshikh is offering the event for just $19.99 through DAZN pay-per-view. Traditionally, a boxing bout of this level would normally run fight fans 3-4 times that amount.

Anthony Joshua Determined to Bring Boxing's Heavyweight Division 'Back Alive'

Anthony Joshua may not have a world title around his waist, but he is without a doubt one of boxing’s biggest heavyweight stars.

On Saturday, September 21, the Watford, England native returns to the squared circle for a tough test when he challenges reigning IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois inside the legendary Wembley Stadium in London, England. Nearly 100,000 fans are expected to turn out to see Joshua throw hands with ‘Dynamite’ in one of the most anticipated headliners of the year.

Joshua goes into the bout having won four straight, including a vicious second-round knockout of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in March.

Anthony Joshua feeling blessed to be back in the boxing spotlight

He’ll look to extend that streak to five and become a world titleholder for the third time in his illustrious career. But beyond that, Joshua aims to bring the once-celebrated division out of the dark ages and make it the sport’s premiere weight class

“It can happen in a variety of ways,” Joshua told ESPN. “I’m not depending on punch power; it takes a lot more to be a great fighter. I’ll break him down with my spirit. I showed Daniel and his whole team the respect they deserve through my training camp and that’s going to put me in good stead. I’m tough, so is he. May the best man win. Good luck to him and his team.

“One thing when first I started boxing is, I wanted to bring the heavyweight division back alive in the U.K. So well done to everyone here as well. What a blessing to be back again… we’re ready to rock and roll. I’m in supreme condition physically and mentally. I’ve been watching some of the old fights as well to remind myself what I’m capable of” (h/t MMA Mania).

Anthony Joshua

Overall, Joshua is 28-3 in his professional boxing career with 25 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
