The BJJ specialist arrived in Manchester to take part in the Misfits Boxing open workouts ahead of his highly anticipated clash with social media sensation Logan Paul in the co-main event of ‘The PRIME Card’ on Saturday. While there, Danis had some fun by showing off his pro wrestling moves and choking out blonde bombshell Elle Brooke.

In the clip, which you can see below courtesy of MMA Mania, Brooke loses consciousness after a few seconds in the choke before coming to. After she awoke, Brooke was astonished by the result and exclaimed, ‘That’s so much better than drugs!’

Fans Breathe a Sigh of Relief as Dillon Danis Turns Up in Manchester

We’re pretty sure nobody foresaw Dillon Danis delivering Swanton Bombs and choking out an OnlyFans model during the week’s festivities, but fight fans undeniably took a deep sigh of relief when he showed up in Manchester to take part in the promotion’s open workouts.

In recent weeks, there has been rampant speculation that Danis would either not show up, or be pulled from the event with the impending lawsuit against him courtesy of Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. Fortunately, that does not appear to be the case though there is a fair amount of uncertainty about what will happen once the two men step inside the squared circle this weekend.

Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul goes down this Saturday, live from the AO Arena in Manchester with the main card kicking off at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view.

Dillon Danis showed off some of his pro wrestling skills during Wednesday’s Misfits Boxing open workout.

Danis, who is scheduled to step into the squared circle for a co-main event grudge match with social media star Logan Paul, was in attendance at the open workouts ahead of ‘The PRIME Card’ on Saturday night. However, instead of offering onlookers a glimpse at his striking skills, Danis instead opted to show off his acrobatic skills by performing a few wrestling moves inside the ring.

With an assist from UFC middleweight fighter Phil Hawes, Danis delivered his take on wrestling superstar Jeff Hardy’s patented Swanton Bomb.

The pro wrestling moves were likely nothing more than Dillon Danis taking a shot at Logan Paul who is currently signed with the WWE and has appeared at multiple major events for the organization in recent years.

Dillon Danis Puts His BJJ Moves on Display Ahead of Boxing Match

Danis was also seen slamming Hawes to the mat multiple times while locking in joint locks, chokes, and at one point, an omoplata. Of course, none of these moves will be legal when he steps into the ring this weekend leaving those in attendance quite confused by the showing.

Perhaps Dillon Danis showing off his grappling skills at the open workout lends to Brendan Schaub’s belief that should things start to go sour for the BJJ specialist, he could choose to simply choke out Logan Paul in the middle of the boxing ring.

Danis has been nothing short of unpredictable in the weeks building up to his fight with Logan Paul, leading many to expect utter chaos when (and if) he actually steps into the ring. Danis will be competing for the first time in more than four years, having last competed under the Bellator banner in June 2019.

Dillon Danis offers to fight Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294 I'm free next weekend

Planning an eventual Octagon landing in the future, Bellator MMA grappler, Dillon Danis has offered to make a short-notice debut in the promotion at UFC 294 next weekend – offering to fight the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Danis, who is set for his combat sports return this weekend in Manchester, takes on the outspoken podcast host and professional wrestler, Logan Paul in a professional boxing debut for the New Jersey native.

Sidelined since 2019, Danis holds a 2-0 professional mixed martial arts record, boasting back-to-back submission victories in two outings at the welterweight limit under the Bellator MMA banner.

For Chimaev, the Chechen-born contender has been sidelined since September of last year, most recently submitting Kevin Holland with a first round D’Arce choke submission win.

And expected to his year-long hiatus next weekend in the co-main event of UFC 294, Chimaev has seen a scheduled middleweight clash with one-time title chaser, Paulo Costa thrown into jeopardy after the Brazilian underwent a surgical procedure just three weeks ago to address a bursitis infection in his elbow.

UFC CEO, Dana White has confirmed that a search for a potential replacement opponent for Costa is underway, in a bid to keep the undefeated Chimaev on the card. And according to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Danis, he would be free next weekend to make a Middle East trip and Octagon bow against Chimaev.

“I’m free next week @danawhite give me Khamzat Chimaev,” Dillon Danis posted on his official X account

Atop UFC 294 to boot, an initially scheduled headliner between champion, Islam Makhachev and former titleholder, Charles Oliveira has also been shelved overnight, with the latter suffering a laceration to his eyebrow overnight, ruling him from proceedings.

As a result, Russian favorite, Makhachev will now match up with undisputed featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski in a championship rematch on just 10 days’ notice next weekend at the Etihad Arena.

Dillon Danis is going to keep trolling until the very end.

On Saturday, October 14, Danis is scheduled to step inside the squared circle for a boxing clash with social media sensation Logan Paul. Emanating from Manchester, many fight fans have been eagerly waiting to find out if Danis is even going to show up inside the AO Arena this weekend, let alone fight.

Recently, Danis found himself hooked up to a lie detector to answer some hard-hitting questions ahead of fight night. Inevitably, the question came up asking whether or not he was actually going to show up and compete against Logan Paul.

Coy as ever, Dillon Danis gave the one answer you’re not typically allowed to give during a lie detector test.

Dillon Danis Has a Good Reason to Show Up on Saturday Night

The general consensus appears to be under the assumption that Dillon Danis will in fact show up on fight night, if for no other reason than he’s going to need the payday to help cover some serious lawyer fees.

After weeks of endlessly harassing Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, on social media, the Danish swimsuit model finally had enough. Agdla filed a lawsuit against Danis, alleging that he had attacked her online more than 250 times with a variety of images, memes, and comments. Danis even went so far as to share a sexually explicit photo of Agdal that was reportedly taken during a “romantic encounter” more than 10 years ago.

Now contending with a lawsuit and pending charges for allegedly violating federal ‘revenge porn’ laws, Dillon Danis is going to need all the coin he can get his hands on for the impending fallout of his actions.

The real question is, will Danis and Paul engage in a clean fight come Saturday’s co-main event, or will they let their emotions get the best of them once they come face-to-face?

Brendan Schaub believes Dillon Danis could resort to choking out Logan Paul in the ring: ‘He’s a wild boy’

Dillon Danis

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub believes Dillon Danis may go into business for himself when he steps inside the boxing ring for a highly anticipated clash with Logan Paul.

On Saturday, October 14, Danis will return to competitive combat sports for the first time in four years. Scheduled to co-headline Misfits Boxing’s ‘The PRIME Card’ in Manchester, Danis will square off against Paul in what has evolved into a full-on grudge match after the BJJ specialist spent the last two months trolling the social media star’s fiancee, swimsuit model Nina Agdal, online.

Danis’ incessant slut-shaming of Agdal has even landed him on the wrong side of a pending lawsuit with Agdal accusing him of violating state and federal ‘revenge porn’ laws that could end up costing him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming clash and all the craziness that has occured over the last several weeks, Brendan Schaub believes things could go awry when the two men finally strap on the eight-ounce gloves this weekend.

“If you don’t think Dillon Danis is crazy enough to choke Logan Paul unconscious because he knows he’s gonna lose in court and lose all his money, he has nothing to lose,” Schaub said on his Thiccc Boy YouTube channel. “If Dillon Danis goes in there and goes, ‘Alright, I’m gonna box him. If for whatever reason I can’t land, it’s not going well, I’m gonna choke him unconscious just for the hell of it.’ If you don’t think Dillon Danis is capable of that, ya don’t know Dillon Danis. I could definitely see him doing that. 100 percent.”

It wouldn’t be the first time a Paul brother found themselves being choked inside the squared circle. During Jake Paul’s 10-round clash with ex-UFC star Nate Diaz in August, the ‘Stockton Samurai’ briefly locked in a guillotine choke on the ‘Problem Child’ before being separated by the referee.

“He does not play by your rules. Neither does Logan,” Schaub said. “So for you guys to think that Saturday night’s just gonna be a boxing match, I don’t think it’s far-fetched to say Dillon’s gonna do some wild crap. If it goes south, he’s gonna ankle lock him, choke him, and Logan’s security, they think they’re gonna be quick enough to get him… They’re not.

“That’s gonna go viral. Again, Dillon’s gonna ‘win’ on Saturday night, but he’s gonna lose all of his money in the court case and I guarantee you he’ll get sued for that. I don’t think Dillon cares. He’s a wild boy” (h/t MMA Mania).

Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul goes down this Saturday with the main card kicking off at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view.

Logan Paul snaps back at Brendan Schaub following Nina Agdal lawsuit criticism: ‘It bums me out’

Logan Paul

Logan Paul snapped back at Brendan Schaub after the former UFC heavyweight expressed frustration over the legal issues looming over Paul’s upcoming fight with Dillon Danis.

Danis is expected to make his return to competition for the first time in four years on October 14, but much of his comeback has been overshadowed after the BJJ specialist became the subject of a lawsuit filed by Logan Paul’s fiancee, swimsuit model Nina Agdal.

In the suit, Danis is accused of targeting Agdal online more than 250 times by posting a bevy of NSFW photos, memes, and comments in an attempt to slut-shame the Dane. Danis insists that it was nothing more than a tactic to build up his fight with Logan Paul, but he appeared to take things a bit too far when he shared a sexually explicit photo of Agdal that was taken during a “romantic encounter” more than a decade ago.

Releasing the private image could potentially result in Danis facing charges for violating state and federal ‘revenge porn’ laws. If guilty, Danis could be on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

While most fight fans would agree that the drama has made the fight between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul more interesting, Brendan Schaub doesn’t see it that way. Taking to social media, Schaub voiced his opinion on the pending lawsuit suggesting that Paul is breaking some kind of unwritten rule by getting lawyers involved in something that was simply meant to promote his fight.

“This bums me out,” Schaub wrote on X. “First rule of fight club: 1. Don’t sue another fighter building the fight.”

Logan Paul Slams Two-Faced Brendan Schaub

Logan Paul didn’t take kindly to Schaub’s comments and quickly snapped back, reminding the former fighter that it was not him suing Danis, but an innocent bystander who endured the brunt of his incessant trolling.

“It bums me out that three weeks ago, I DM’d you Nina’s lawsuit details because of your ignorance and your response was, ‘Oh Jesus. Did not know that. Not cool.’ …Then, you come on here talking about fight club rules like you’re the referee. This twisted ‘promotion’ has gone FAR beyond the fight game and you know that,” Paul responded.

“Plus, I’m not the one suing him. He picked a fight with an innocent woman who is standing up for herself the only way she can: by holding a predator legally accountable for breaking the law — any person who doesn’t understand that is a delusional twat. The lawsuit is HER choice, and I fully support her.

“Now I get to break his face in front of millions of people & ruin his entire life. Win win.”
