According to Elon Musk, his highly-anticipated clash with fellow billionaire Mark Zuckerberg could take place inside the Colosseum. Yes, that Colosseum.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, an official from the government of Italy contacted the Facebook co-founder about bringing his rumored scrap with Musk to Rome’s legendary Colosseum. The Titan of Tesla added some fuel to the fire on social media, suggesting that the fabled fight theater could host what many are calling the biggest fight in the history of combat sports.

Some chance fight happens in Colosseum,” Musk tweeted.

However, it should be noted that The Ministry of Culture’s Office issued a statement saying, “There has been no formal contact from the ministry nor any written document, even if the news appears tasty it is unfounded.” They also added that “If Zuckerberg and Musk wanted to perform in the Colosseum they would have to make a non-violent challenge.”

Musk vs. Zuckerberg Could Be the UFC’s Ticket to Holding an Event Inside the 2,000-Year-Old Amphitheater

TMZ’s sources are standing by their original scoop and have also claimed that both Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are on board with taking their fight to the world’s most iconic venue.

After receiving the offer, Zuckerberg reportedly passed the news along to UFC President Dana White who then reached out to the Minister through his people. Originally, the bout was expected to take place in Las Vegas, but with an 80-pound difference between Zuckerberg and Musk, getting the Nevada State Athletic Commission to sign off on a scrap between the two could be a bit of a challenge. With Italy reportedly interested in hosting the bout, an entirely new world of possibilities has opened for all parties involved.

One major drawback could be capacity. The nearly 2,000-year-old amphitheater has not hosted events for hundreds of years. The one exception came in 2003 when Sir Paul McCartney performed in the Colosseum during an exclusive charity show in front of an at-capacity crowd of 400.

Elon Musk has accepted former UFC champion, Georges St Pierre’s offer to train him for a potential clash with fellow billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg.

Mainstream media flocked to the world of MMA when two of the world’s richest men, Musk and Zuckerberg, appeared to agree to fight one another in a ‘cage match’. With it came along a whole list of people attempting to attach themselves to the situation, including UFC president, Dana White.

Although White has recently claimed that he did not do ‘gimmick’ fights, he also expressed his interest in putting on the contest between two complete beginners. In an interview, White said that he had also spoken to both men, and they were serious about the matchup.

“They both said, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it.’ They both want to do it,” White said to TMZ. “Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said, ‘Is (Musk) serious?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask him.’ I asked him, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’m dead serious.’

Listen, if these guys are serious, I make fights that people want to see. that’s what I do for a living. If they really want to do it and they’re serious, and we can figure out a way to pull this off, I would absolutely, positively do this.

Elon Musk accepts an offer from Georges St Pierre

Among the many attempting to get in on the action was former welterweight and middleweight UFC champion, St-Pierre. The Canadian would Tweet out an offer to train Musk, which the Twitter owner would accept.

@elonmusk I’m a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg,” said St-Pierre.

“Let’s do it”, Musk replied.

Elon Musk and Georges St-Pierre

While Zuckerberg has publicly started his jiu-jitsu journey, he and Musk have no real combat experience and if the Facebook founders short training clips are anything to go off, it would be an awful contest. Musk himself is also 51 years old and very clearly not in fighting shape along with the pair running empire that are collectively worth hundreds of billions of dollars, which assuredly take a lot of time up.

If it did happen, who would win – Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg?

Chael Sonnen claims the highly-discussed clash between social media moguls Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk will go down at UFC 300 next year.

The idea of Zuckerberg and Musk, two of the most prominent figures in technology, squaring off inside the Octagon still feels like a fever dream, but according to all parties involved, the possibility is very real. During his appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Chael Sonnen doused the fire with another healthy dose of gasoline, claiming that he had spoken to Mark Zuckerberg on the phone before coming on the show.

“Zuckerberg has told me that he has agreed to fight Elon Musk at UFC 300. And it was a very big deal. He kept bringing up the date and going on, ‘Elon could never say he doesn’t have something to do. He could never say that he was busy.’ So what do you want me to do with this? Why don’t you call in? Just call in, and you tell Ariel. ‘Ariel knows how to get a hold of my people.’ That’s what he said. I’m just delivering the message.”

Sonnen insisted that he was telling the truth, adding, “That just happened. [My producer] Ethan is my witness, my son, Thero, my dog, Duke. This is a shoot.”

A Spokesperson for Mark Zuckerberg Denies Phone Call with Chael Sonnen Took Place

However, a spokesperson for the Facebook co-founder suggested that Sonnen was telling a tall tale, saying, “I have confirmed with Mark that he did not call Chael Sonnen.”

UFC 300 currently has no locked-down date, but based on the monthly pay-per-view model that the promotion typically sticks to, the event would likely land in April or May of 2024. That gives both men ample time to prepare for what would be, like it or not, the biggest fight in combat sports history.

The rivalry between Zuckerberg and Musk has escalated in a shockingly short amount of time. All of it seemingly started with Musk taking exception to a report suggesting ‘The Zuck’ was prepping a social media app to compete with Musk’s latest acquisition, Twitter. Musk suggested the two could settle things in a cage which quickly got the attention of Zuckerberg, who responded with a classic Khabib-style response.

From there, things took off with UFC President Dana White telling TMZ Sports that both men were 100% serious about making it happen and suggested the bout could generate a billion dollars.

I think that this will be the biggest fight in the history of the world, and I think it will set a record that will never be broken if it happened. I like putting on fights that people want to see like this,” White said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

If Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk does happen, you can expect to shell out at least $100 to watch it from the privacy of your own home.

Dana White defends Elon Musk Mark Zuckerberg fight It's the biggest of all time

It appears UFC president, Dana White certainly has no plans to lament a failed fight between Tesla founder, Elon Musk, and Meta creator, Mark Zuckerberg in the future – doubling down on his intentions to book the fight, labelling the potential gimmick matchup as the “biggest” bout of all time.

White, the current president of the UFC, has entertained a potential fight under the promotion’s banner between wealthy moguls Musk, and Zuckerberg, claiming both men were “deadly serious” about competing opposite each other.

Furthermore, in a bid to sell the legitimacy of the bout, White cited Zuckerberg’s prior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background and recent competitive showings in grappling competitions, while also claiming Musk had taken part in his fair share of fights while growing up in his native South Africa.

Following last night’s UFC Jacksonville event in Florida, where Ilia Topuria headlined in a dominant unanimous decision win over Josh Emmett – White posted a brief video on his social media, sporting a UFC branded tee shirt, spread with ‘Zuckerberg vs. Musk’ across the front, sending fans into raptures.

And jumping to the defense of those calling the bout a gimmick pairing, White described the matchup as the “biggest one of all time” – in a series of comments to social media users.

“@tpo85 then keep watching MMA vs. Boxer in Boxing,” Dana White commented. “Apparently u love those fights even though u KNOW EXACTLY who’s gonna win. All good.”

“@rob.hipwell don’t argue with someone like this dude,” Dana White commented. “I love doing MASSIVE fights that everyone wanna see. This is the biggest one of ALL TIME. Fun sh*t.”

“@dude_on_the_street this isn’t a gimmick fight,” Dana White said. “Gimmick is MMA guys going to Boxing an getting beat. We have seen it already and know how it ends. This is a fight between 2 of the most powerful-richest guys in the world. Who will win? Who has seen this before? NOBODY. It’s also a crossover fight that literally EVERY EVERYONE will watch.” (H/T Chisanga Malata)

UFC legend Georges St-Pierre has thrown his name into the hat of potential coaches for Elon Musk’s rumored scrap with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

What started as a nonchalant challenge on social media has quickly turned into an opportunity worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and seemingly everyone wants to get in on the action. Things really started to heat up, with Dana White telling TMZ Sports that both Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk were 100% serious about putting a fight together between the two. Since then, recently indicted British-American kickboxer Andrew Tate offered up his services to train Musk for the billionaire beatdown. To be fair, Musk could do a lot worse, but he could also do a lot better.

Enter Georges St-Pierre, who hopes to be that better after reaching out to Elon Musk on Twitter, letting the Tesla Motors CEO know that it would be an honor to coach him for a social media smackdown against ‘The Zuck.’

@elonmusk I’m a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg,” tweeted St-Pierre.

Mark Zuckerberg Opens as Favorite in Fantasy Fight with Elon Musk

While the idea of Elon Musk fighting Mark Zuckerberg inside the Octagon still feels like a fever dream, Las Vegas is taking the possibility seriously. Well, serious enough to release odds for the potential matchup of media moguls.

DraftKings, one of the nation’s most popular sportsbooks, released odds that favored Mark Zuckerberg in the hypothetical bout, listing him at -160. This means you would have to bet $160 in order to win $100. Meanwhile, Musk comes in as the underdog, listed at +140. So if you bet $100 on Musk, you could potentially pocket $140. The Zuck’ has been heavily favored on most sportsbooks thanks to his well-established physical fitness and his intense Brazilian jiu-jitsu training that has captivated combat sports fans over the last few months.

Zuckerberg is 12 years younger and has taken part in an intensive challenge in which he ran a mile, completed 100 pull-ups, 200 press-ups, and 300 squats, before running a further mile, all while wearing a 9kg weighted vest,” Johnny Avello, DraftKings’ Director of Race & Sports Operations said in a statement.

Unfortunately, bettors cannot place a wager just yet, with the bout being nothing more than a slightly elevated rumor at this point.

Andrew Tate offers to train Elon Musk for fight with ‘enemy clans leader’ Mark Zuckerberg

Andrew Tate

Recently indicted social media star Andrew Tate has offered to train Elon Musk for a potential clash with META CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The combat sports world was set ablaze when ‘The Zuck’ seemingly accepted a nonchalant challenge laid down by the Tesla Motors CEO, suggesting they can go toe-to-toe in a cage match after a report emerged claiming that Zuckerberg was in the process of prepping a new app specifically designed to compete with Musk’s latest acquisition, Twitter. Even with the Facebook founder’s Khabib-style response to the challenge, fight fans assumed it was nothing more than two billionaires entertaining themselves in between cashing checks. As it turns out, it could be much bigger than that.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White suggested that both men are very serious about strapping on the four-ounce gloves against one another. Now everyone is trying to get a piece of the action, with Jake Paul desperate to promote the fight under the PFL banner and accused human trafficker Andrew Tate offering to train Musk for the matchup. However, with Tate, his interest goes beyond simply trying to carve out a piece of the pie for himself.

“Meta banned me everywhere for telling the truth about vaccines,” Tate tweeted. “But now we can restore honour with a strike at the enemy clans leader. I will train you @elonmusk. You will not lose.”

Andrew Tate Indicted on Human Trafficking Charges in Romania

Unfortunately, if Elon Musk does want to take Andrew Tate up on his offer, he’ll have to travel to Romania as Tate’s house arrest was extended another 30 days by local officials while they continue to investigate a myriad of charges against the embattled British-American kickboxer, including rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.

Andrew Tate, alongside his brother Tristan Tate and two other individuals, was detained in Romania late last year before ultimately being released on house arrest. Their confinement has since been extended twice, the most recent being in accordance with an official indictment, charging Tate that the other parties with the infractions mentioned above.

Since the accusations first came to light, several women in Britain have come forward and are pursuing civil claims to obtain damages from Tate, alleging they were victims of sexual violence.

Probably not the kind of person Elon Musk wants to be associated with, but crazier things have happened. Especially when hundreds of millions of dollars are involved.
