Hunt To Lesnar: “For Someone Who Was Cheating, You Still Hit Like A P*ssy”

Well, on top of all their other problems, the UFC appears to have one pissed off Samoan on their hands. Depending on how they choose to handle the situation, they might not have him on their roster at all.

Following the news that USADA flagged Brock Lesnar for a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition test administered on June 28th, just 11 days before his Octagon comeback at UFC 200, UFC heavyweight contender Mark Hunt has been quite vocal on social media. Ultimately, Hunt has chosen to give the UFC an ultimatum — give him half of Lesnar’s reported $2.5 million purse, or grant him a release from his UFC contract.

“I saw Brock made millions for this fight, more than anyone ever.” Hunt said in a recent interview. “I wanna know what they are gonna do to Brock now. When you don’t make weight they give twenty percent of your purse to the other fighter. If you get caught cheating you should lose all of it. I’ve told Dana [White] I want half of Brock’s purse.”

Now, Hunt has decided to go one step further.

Hunt is now demanding the UFC to give him Lesnar’s entire $2.5 million purse, the largest guaranteed purse in UFC history, which is believed to only be a fraction of the total amount Lesnar earned for his first fight in over five years.

“Well I wanted half but have changed my mind,” wrote Hunt in a new tweet posted on Saturday afternoon. “Cheaters shouldn’t get sh*t, I want all of it. Cheaters don’t deserve sh*t.”

In addition to Lesnar, Hunt has faced two other opponents in recent bouts who went on to test positive for banned substances after their fight, as both Frank Mir and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva — both of whom Hunt actually knocked out — would go on to be flagged by USADA.

“They say they are trying to clean up the sport, but it doesn’t feel like it,” Hunt said of the UFC. “The UFC is basically saying if you cheat you won’t be penalized. This is the third time I’ve had to fight a cheater in my career. The other two times I didn’t ask for compensation, but this is the third time and I’m sick of them getting away with cheating.”

While Hunt altered his demands, he isn’t budging in regards to wanting to be released from the UFC if the issue isn’t resolved to his satisfaction.

“I’ve told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don’t sort this out,” said Hunt.

In addition to the ultimatum given to the UFC, Hunt has also taken a number of shots directly at Lesnar on social media.

“For someone who was cheating, he still hits like a p*ssy,” wrote Hunt on his official Twitter page. “Cheating ass b*tch boi. Go stick some more needles in your ass you cheating b*tch.”

Hunt lost to Lesnar via unanimous decision at the landmark UFC 200 event on July 9, dropping to number nine in the official UFC rankings as a result. Depending on the outcome of Lesnar’s ongoing issues with USADA and the UFC, which will also be taken up with the Nevada Athletic Commission, the fight outcome could be changed to a “No Contest” ruling.

Well, it sounds like Mark Hunt is taking the news regarding Brock Lesnar being flagged by USADA for a potential Anti-Doping Violation incredibly serious.

Hunt apparently gave the UFC an ultimatum upon finding out that Lesnar tested positive for what is believed to be a yet-to-be-announced banned substance for their fight at UFC 200. Apparently Hunt wants either half of Lesnar’s purse from the fight, which was disclosed by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) as being a reported $2.5 million, or else he wants to be released from his contract with the UFC.

In addition to the alleged ultimatum that Hunt gave the UFC regarding the Lesnar/USADA situation, the Samoan heavyweight contender also spoke with Marc Ramondi of MMAFighting.com, venting his frustration over the ongoing issue of fighters competing on performance-enhancing drugs.

“The cheaters get a slap on the wrist and walk off,” said a clearly upset Hunt. “What penalty or deterrent is there to make them think twice? Nothing.”

Hunt has fought three of his last four opponents in the UFC while they were on banned substances of some kind, including Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Frank Mir and now Lesnar).

As Hunt continued to vent his frustration to Ramondi, he spoke about how the fine a fighter receives for competing on banned substances doesn’t go to the fighters opponent, which in the aforementioned three cases, would have been him if that were the policy, as he feels it should be.

“And the [NAC], why should these [expletives] get anything? They are not the ones who had to fight with Lesnar, or lose [to him]. I lost.”

Brock Lesnar Flagged By USADA For Potential Anti-Doping Violation

Just when fans may have thought he was in the clear, yet somehow looked like a shredded monster, Brock Lesnar has been flagged by USADA for a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from a test he took on June 28th, just 11 days prior to his Octagon return against Mark Hunt at UFC 200.

For his part, Hunt seemed to have an idea something was up. After the fight, Hunt wouldn’t make excuses for his unanimous decision loss to Lesnar, but did openly question how he managed to make the Heavyweight limit of 265 pounds.

Meanwhile, one of the taglines heading into UFC 200 came from Lesnar, who publicly bragged about being a “jacked white guy,” as he noted during the UFC 200 pre-fight press conference when asked about the aforementioned USADA exemption, “I’m a white boy and I’m jacked — deal with it.”

There was a lot of controversy surrounding the decision to give Lesnar an exemption that would prevent him from the same testing policy as any other former UFC fighters who would want to come out of retirement to fight again inside the Octagon. With Lesnar’s UFC return being a “one-off,” however, one would assume that ultimately, he won’t be paying the same price as most other fighters, who essentially lose their way of making a living for a minimum of two years per the new USADA/UFC Anti-Doping policy.

As is the case with any fighter being flagged by USADA, what Lesnar actually tested positive for has not yet been revealed. Stick with MMANews.com for updates on Lesnar’s Anti-Doping Policy violation.

Fedor’s Controversial Win Over Maldonado From EFN 50 Officially Overturned To A Draw

While it’s very rare that a judges decision ever gets overturned by a commission, that’s exactly what happened this week when it was announced that the controversial decision in favor of Fedor Emelianenko over Fabio Maldonado was changed to a draw.

While it’s very rare that a judges decision ever gets overturned by a commission, that’s exactly what happened this week when it was announced that the controversial decision in favor of Fedor Emelianenko over Fabio Maldonado was changed to a draw.

Due to the fact that the event was held in Fedor’s home country of Russia, and was sanctioned by the Russian MMA Union, the result will not be overturned by them. In fact, the Russian MMA Union, which Fedor serves as President for, denied Maldonado’s attempt to appeal the decision, citing a rule where an appeal must be officially entered within 40 minutes of the fight ending.

Because of what Maldonado claimed was a conflict of interest, he continued on with his attempts to get the decision overturned, as his team went above the Russian MMA Union to the World MMA Association (WMMAA). The WMMAA ended up suspending Radmir Gabdullin, (the Vice President of the Russian MMA Union, who just so happens to be a former M-1 Global fighter and training partner/friend of Fedor’s) who denied the initial appeal, and had three impartial judges re-evaluate and re-score the fight.

The three judges chosen were Youri Lamoureux from Canada, Lukasz Bosacki from Poland and Alexey Zemskov from Russia, all of which scored the fight the same way most in the MMA community did when they first saw it live on UFC Fight Pass, as they gave Maldonado the first round via a 10-8 score, and rounds two and three to Fedor via 10-9 scores, making the official result a 28-28 draw across the board.

While the Russian MMA Union won’t be honoring the decision of the WMMAA regarding the new draw ruling for the Fedor-Maldonado bout, which took place from St. Petersburg, Russia last month at the EFN 50 event, the rest of the MMA world will be going with the revised result.

MMAFighting.com is reporting that because Lesnar is still technically a member of the active UFC roster, he will continue to be drug-tested by USADA.

Apparently Lesnar must formally inform USADA that he is once again officially retired from UFC competition to get the drug tests to stop.

“To my knowledge, Brock Lesnar has not notified USADA of his retirement from the UFC,” Madden said to Marc Ramondi of MMA Fighting. “Therefore, he remains subject to USADA testing and the UFC anti-doping policy.”

Brock Lesnar made his Octagon return at the historic UFC 200 event this past weekend, defeating top-ten ranked heavyweight contender Mark Hunt via unanimous decision in the co-main event of the evening.
