Lorenzo Hunt walked over to Hector Lombard to grab his belt and then proceeded to smash it on the ground before being escorted out of the building at the BKFC 22 pre-fight press conference.

The ongoing events caused by Hunt grabbing the cruiserweight belt was the UFC veteran Lombard being restrained as well as the whole press conference being in a state of shock. 

This is a fight that seems to be long overdue between both fighters with their first encounter coming after Lombard’s title victory, now with this final meeting leading carnage.

Hunt was fined an undisclosed fee for his actions, BKFC officials told MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin. 

Hector Lombard and Lorenzo Hunt have a long history

Dating back to BKFC when Lombard captured the cruiserweight title for the first time causing Hunt to storm the ring. 

This resulted in Lombard hitting Hunt with a two-punch combination while the area security and everyone surrounding tried to separate them.

With all of the pre-fight build-up with already a couple of near fight situations there seems to be no love lost between the two fighters 

Hunt currently holds a record of 6-1 in BKFC and is riding a three-fight win streak with all finishes being by knockout. 

Since joining BKFC Lombard is undefeated and has captured the cruiserweight title, the UFC veteran will look to add to the success he has had since joining the organization with a win over Hunt.

Things got heated at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 19 when former UFC fighters Hector Lombard and Tyron Woodley bumped into each other.

Lombard apparently had a score to settle with ‘The Chosen One’ and decided to confront him in public. The former Bellator champion accuses Woodley of trying to steal his “side piece” before signaling to BKFC president, Dave Feldman, that he wants to arrange a fight with Woodley. The heated moment was caught on camera then posted to social media – check it out below.

After the video went viral, Lombard explained the confrontation to his fans.

“After so many years, finally I got to see this clown twooodley face to face,” Lombard wrote alongside the video on Instagram. He was calling me across the ring waving ? etc. I asked him to come over, so he did. Once he did I wanted to slap him in the face, but I contained myself because I have respect for @davidfeldmanbkfc

“But let me tell you guys how the beef started…

“A while ago I had a girlfriend and things were going really bad between us. And I had a relationship with with another girl at the gym and yes I was wrong for doing that but I’m not perfect in any shape of form. I’m not going to mention who but
this clown sent me a text.

“Saying that while she was training she messed up her knee.
And that he was really good at wrapping, that he had experience in those types of injuries etc.
I gave him her number and I told her Tyrone says that he wants to help you, he is going to wrap your knee etc. Are you okay with that? and she says yes, No problem as long I can get better.

“After that he was trying in her for a week and a half by bashing me telling her how come Hector is in Louisiana with his girlfriend and you’re here, that’s so wrong that no one likes Hector at the gym, so on and so on!

“Putting me down so he could get his d..k wet. Meanwhile he was married with 4 kids etc. pure bullshit @liboriobjj begged me to leave it alone because he would lose his family if his wife found out what happened. He lost it anyways for doing the same

“I have everything on text. This clown acts like he is a street guy etc.

“No you’re not! lucky you and lucky me I found out you was gone! Remember when I called you and you were at the airport??

“Funny how he was apologizing to me, sending me bible stories… you fake! Everything is starting to unfold… The truth is finally starting to come out!”

The former MMA champion took to social media to post a mock fight poster featuring him and the Paul and asked the YouTuber if he wants to fight in BKFC or boxing, he wrote.

“We do it at @bareknucklefc or we do it in a boxing match @jakepaul?? I know you wanna make it happen the question is where do you want to do it?? I know you want to do it in a boxing match.. but do you have the balls to do it at BareknuckleFC??? Where would you guys like to see it??? everyone tag #jakepaul”

Lombard is the current cruiserweight champion in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. This past weekend, Lombard squared off against Joe Riggs in a fun fight that ended in controversial circumstances.

The MMA veterans went at it in a wild fight before Lombard held onto Riggs’ shorts and uncorked a punch. As a result, the fight was waved off as Riggs was unable to see out of one of his eyes and therefore unable to continue – Lombard was declared the new cruiserweight BKFC champion.

Post-fight, things only got crazier, as Lombard began his post-fight interview he was approached by fellow BKFC competitor Lorenzo Hunt. The former UFC contender clearly wasn’t a fan of his personal space being invaded and immediately began swinging at Hunt. Riggs was on hand to drag Lombard away and prevent absolute carnage breaking out.

Paul is currently 3-0 in professional boxing. The 24-year-old has looked good against extremely poor opposition. His most high-profile win came last time out against former Bellator and ONE Championship titleholder, Ben Askren. Paul is now set to square off against Tyron Woodley on Showtime pay-per-view on August 28.
