Utilizing his patented footwork to evade some winging shots from Kenney early in the round, former champion, Cruz got into his flow early, finding his mark with well timed and placed leg kicks and dipping-hooks, as well as a notable right high-kick.
Starting to find his mark with a low, inside leg kick, Kenney had a kick-heavy approach — looking to hamper the mesmerizing movement of Cruz. Another round in the books for Cruz, however, he did find himself on the receiving end of a notable check left hook before the buzzer, as Kenney gained a front head-lock.
Some decent grappling scrambles to begin the third, with Kenney chasing a guillotine, while Cruz maintained side-control before landing a good knee to the body in the clinch before the break. With Casey extremely fatigued, Cruz managed to nab a knee tap takedown, in a difference making moment in the third and final round.

Beginning worryingly slow, Fortis MMA trainee, Nzechukwu looked on the brink of a knockout loss on a couple of ocassion in the opening frame. Plodding forward and failing to throw anything majorly significant in the first round, it appeared Nzechukwu was there for the taking if Ulberg could pick his shots.
Following a brief stoppage in the action in the second due to an inadvertant eye-poke, Nzechukwu began to open up on Ulberg who was now incredibly fatigued — dropping the New Zealander at the fence with a right hook before forcing referee, Herb Dean to halt the matchup with follow up ground-and-pound shots. A lot of feints and pops from the shoulders of Ciryl Gane to get the first round started, before he fires off a lightening fast southpaw jab — grabbing Rozenstruik’s attention, who as usual, looked to play counter. Decent left hand for Rozenstruik lands after he briefly catches a body kick attempt from Gane. Faking another body kick, Gane launched a solid straight right hand before closing the distance and clinching. Takedown secured for Gane, however, Rozenstruik retains his full guard before closure of the opening round. 10-9 Gane.
Patience opening to the second again from Gane while Rozenstruik continues to attempt to fire off counter shots. Rozenstruik then rushes forward with Gane level changing, circling and putting the Suriname native back on the fence before almost scoring a stunning outside trip takedown. Another 10-9 for Gane. Rozenstruik yet to find his mark with any substancial counters.
A tad more lively midway through the third with both Rozenstruik and Gane trading for a moment in the middle of the Octagon. Gane working well from his southpaw right side, bouncing well on the balls of his feet and mixing up his strikes. 10-9 again for Gane who is utilizing his movement well to evade some counters from Rozenstruik, although, they are coming few and far between.
Jump knee to the body for Gane finds it’s target on the right hand side of Rozenstruik’s midsection — with the latter still yet to get out of the starting blocks at all really here in the fourth. Another knee entry from Gane catches Rozenstruik just above the cup it seems, however, we get a brief stoppage in the action. Another 10-9 for Gane who scores a decent check left hook at the fence before the klaxon. Rozenstruik in need of a finish here.

Opening with a low kick to the lead of Lewis, Blaydes almost paid the price closing range early — with the New Orleans native firing back in the pocket. Pressuring Lewis back to the fence, a cautious, measured Blaydes was dominating the Octagon in the early goings.
Finding his mark with a right hand, Blaydes punished a wild, swinging Lewis. Landing an inadvertent eye-poke, Lewis and Blaydes seen a brief stoppage in the action before the end of the round.

And Still. A record setting victory for undisputed UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, but not without it’s adversity. Burns immediately pressures Usman but swings wide with an overhand right. Dropping Usman with his next shot, Burns with a massive overhand shot brought the Nigerian to his knees for a moment. Respect earned immediately from Usman via that shot from the challenger.
Burns most definitely having the better of these opening round exchanges, clipping Usman on the entry each time. Burns with massive power in that frame — Usman’s attention is peaked as a result.
Utilizing his stiff jab after some calls from coach Trevor Wittman, Usman backed Burns on his heels for a moment as well. Wobbling the challenger badly, Usman scored his own overhand knockdown — with the effects of the champion’s jab written all over Burns’ face. Usman’s jab is truly second to none — finding it’s mark time and time again in the second. Possibly one round apiece.
Dropping Burns with another jab to open the third round — Usman followed up with a massive barrage of ground strikes, with referee, Herb Dean eventually separating the two as Burns reels from a couple of those last strikes.
