Jake Paul is still pursuing a boxing match against MMA superstar Conor McGregor.

The YouTube celebrity transitioned to 2020 and looked good against extremely low-level opposition. Paul stretched his undefeated professional record to 2-0 when he sensationally knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Post-fight, the 23-year-old called for a fight with McGregor and his SBG teammate Dillon Danis. Since then, Paul has relentlessly pursued both men.

He made a public offer of $50 million to McGregor for the fight while also taking shots at his fiancée Dee Devlin.

The internet celebrity also gate-crashed a recent Danis interview, throwing water balloons at the BJJ wizard before driving away.

McGregor has ignored the callouts until recently. In an interview with Bloomberg ‘Notorious’ finally address ‘The YouTube Kid’, Jake Paul and refused to rule out fighting him.

“The numbers that that show calculated was a Mike Tyson fight. You had an icon fighting as well as Roy Jones Jr., two GOATs [greatest of all time] of combat sports,” McGregor said.

“And then you had the YouTube kid and NBA star competing underneath that. So they done good business. Am I into those competitions myself? You know it’s not the most high-level – if any level – at that stage…

“As they say, if it makes dollars, it makes sense. I know Dana [White] and the UFC are not really into it, but I’m not so against it. I think if people are willing to get in and take the risk of making that walk, I’m certainly a viewer.”

In his latest Instagram post, the American dines on some chicken while accusing McGregor of avoiding him.

“I love all chickens, besides Conor McGregor. He is the world’s biggest chicken,” Paul said. “Conor, you were just talking about me in the media saying, ‘If it makes money, it makes sense. I offered you $50 million, you’re getting paid $5million to fight Dustin Poirier. I think you’re a chicken.”

Conor McGregor has given his thoughts on the rise of YouTube celebrities such as Logan and Jake Paul crossing over into boxing.

Logan Paul is set to square off against one of the greatest boxers ever, Floyd Mayweather on February 20. The 25-year-old has fought just once in professional boxing and fell short when doing so against fellow viral superstar KSI. The pair previously fought to a draw in an amateur bout.

Jake Paul has found more success in the squared circle. After impressing in his lone amateur bout Paul turned professional in 2020 and looked good against low-level opposition. In November he picked up a highlight-reel knockout against former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Since then the younger Paul brother has been calling for a fight with McGregor. The viral star has been relentless in his attempts to convince ‘Notorious’ to box him. Former dual weight UFC champion McGregor has been uncharacteristically quiet about this.

In an interview with Bloomberg, McGregor commented on the rise of YouTube boxing, he said.

“If they are fighting well then it can’t make a mockery of fighting. They’re getting in and competing. I am not so much against it. What I will say though is the numbers that that show calculated was a Mike Tyson fight. You had an icon fighting as well as Roy Jones Jr., two GOATs [greatest of all time] of combat sports.

“And then you had the YouTube kid and NBA star competing underneath that. So they done good business. Am I into those competitions myself? You know it’s not the most high-level – if any level – at that stage. Obviously the Tyson vs Jones fight was very high level and very interesting to see what they’re like in their older age. I thought they both fought amazingly.

McGregor wouldn’t rule out fighting someone from the YouTube world.

“As they say, if it makes dollars, it makes sense,” McGregor concluded. “I know Dana [White] and the UFC are not really into it, but I’m not so against it. I think if people are willing to get in and take the risk of making that walk, I’m certainly a viewer.”

Danis Paul

Bellator welterweight fighter Dillon Danis has never been shy about expressing how he feels on social media and this week is no different as him and Jake Paul’s Boxing Coach, BJ Flores have been trading verbal jabs about not only the potential Jake Paul boxing match, but Danis fighting Flores in the boxing ring with small gloves or no gloves at all.

This rivalry has been brewing for a couple of weeks now ever since Paul ambushed Danis with a drive-by water balloon attack while he was filming an episode of Food Truck Diaries with Brendan Schaub on Showtime last month, that many fans and media members think was staged. Since then it has been full steam ahead on social media between the two.

On his Instagram story, Danis has been posting screenshots of Paul’s boxing coach calling him out, with Flores saying “Any fucking time you want to meet me in the boxing ring. You won’t last 1 fucking round. Small gloves, no gloves, you pick. #anywhere #anytime #anyokace”

Flores is a pro boxer who has a record of 34 wins, 4 losses and one draw. He has challenged for the IBO and WBO Cruiserweight titles.

Danis responded by saying “You don’t say let’s meet in a boxing. Let’s have a real fight we both put up 500K winner take all! Jake Paul gonna need a new coach though cause every limb in your body will be snapped in half when i send you back crying to him.”

He then proceed to post screenshots of him and Jake Paul’s DM conversations. They are very lengthy but they basically go back and forth calling each other out for making excuses for why the fight has not been scheduled yet.

Danis then says on his Instagram story that “The reason Jake Paul has been quiet is that I got some heavy heavy info on him, he’s been bullying people into hiding for years. Too bad lil guy, you messed with the wrong gangster! I want all the smoke.”

Finally, Danis posted this clip of him hitting the bag across all social media:

Jake Paul has continued his pursuit of UFC double champ Conor McGregor by mocking his level of sparring ahead of UFC 257.

McGregor has been getting in boxing rounds with Irish prospect Dylan Moran (15-1) ahead of his eagerly anticipated rematch with Dustin Poirier on January 23. Paul, who has been chasing a fight with ‘Notorious’ for some time now was interested to learn more about who McGregor is sparring. The YouTube celebrity took to social media to unveil his findings.

“Conor’s taking easy fights. But he’s been sparring in Ireland, Paul said. “He’s been boxing, going against some phenomenal, exciting Irish talent. (The) kid must be really good because Conor’s a ‘good boxer’ right? And then we looked this kid up. Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you: the big, bad, exciting Irish talent – Dylan Moran, the kid that Conor McGregor is sparring against. Take a look.”

Paul’s story then cut to a video of Moran being dropped three times in his first and only loss which came in 2019 against Dennis Okoth.

This appears to be Paul’s latest attempt to get under the skin of McGregor who has so far ignored the 24-year-olds jibes. After knocking out former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. Paul called out McGregor and his SBG teammate Dillon Danis.

Since then, Paul has upped the ante by unleashing a tirade of abuse at McGregor which included insulting his fiancée, Dee Devlin. The viral star also gate-crashed a recent Danis interview by throwing water balloons at the BJJ wizard before fleeing.

Former Bellator and ONE Championship titlist Ben Askren has been heavily linked to a fight with Paul. However, once ‘Funky’ publicly agreed to the bout things went quiet. Askren has since accused Paul of backing out of the fight.

Stipe Miocic Warns Paul Brothers: ‘Don’t Bite Off More Than You Can Chew’

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic provided a warning to the Paul brothers.

Logan Paul is set to face Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition boxing match next month while his brother Jake is reportedly slated to box Ben Askren in March.

Jake, in particular, has been calling out a number of MMA fighters for a boxing match ever since his knockout of former NBA point guard Nate Robinson in November. Among the names he has called out since include Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis to name a few.

And while many are favoring him over Askren, Miocic believes Jake and his brother shouldn’t be biting off more than they can chew — even if they are bringing more publicity to the sport.

“I mean, they say social media is a motherf*cker,” Miocic said on the Pat McAfee Show. “They’re doing it right, it’s helping boxing, but also it’s helping everything because they’re calling UFC fighters out, too. Or even the Bellator guys.

“Don’t bite off more than you can chew. I mean, yes, you may be a tough guy, but Askren has been in some scraps. That dude’s been around, you know, fighting and wrestling and all that. I tell people like, you get into a fight on the streets — look at the dude’s ears first. If the dude’s ears are cauliflowers, you walk away. I would walk away!”

That said, Miocic wishes them the best but reiterated his warning.

“I wish them all the best,” Miocic added. “I understand why they’re doing it, it’s all about the money. But at the same time, don’t bite off more than you can chew.”

The next few months will certainly show us if they have indeed bitten off more than they can chew.

What do you think of Miocic’s comments?

Logan Paul was shocked at the criticism directed at him from UFC president Dana White.

White recently hit out at the Paul brothers for venturing into the combat sports with Logan set to box Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match next month while his brother Jake is reportedly set to box Ben Askren.

“The answer to that question is, who gives a (expletive)? Neither one of those guys can fight,” White said recently when asked of the Paul brothers. “It’s all a big gimmick. Like I said in a (recent) press conference, there’s a market for that. If people are dumb enough to spend their money watching that (expletive), I don’t know what to tell you.

“Good luck to them. I (couldn’t) care less what that guy (does). I get it. He’s trying to make some money and is doing his thing. There are people who want to spend money on that. I’m not that guy.”

White was directing his criticism more towards Jake who has verbally attacked the UFC head honcho extensively on social media in recent weeks.

Logan, on the other hand, is a fan of White and the UFC and did not want to be grouped along with Jake.

“He [Jake] pissed off Dana White,” Paul said on his podcast. “Now Dana has grouped us together which sucks. I love Dana White, I love the UFC. Now Dana thinks we’re the same person.

“We’re so different. I love the UFC fights. I want to do a UFC fight one day. I’m not saying now, let me get my skills up. Dana, take me back. I’m not Jake! Please. Bro, he’s given me tickets to go to UFC fights before. F*ck! F*ck! I love Conor McGregor dude.”

Maybe White will single out Jake in the future but for now, it looks like no more free tickets for Logan.
