YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul had a surprise visit from an army of federal agents earlier this week. His upcoming fight against former NBA player Nate Robinson now appears to be at risk of falling apart.

On July 23 it was announced Paul and Robinson would be competing on the undercard of an event headlined by heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson who will fight for the first time in fifteen years when he takes on Roy Jones Jr. on September 12.

The FBI told ABC7 that the raid on Paul’s house was in connection to a riot at an Arizona shopping mall in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.

“The FBI is investigating allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020,” the bureau said in a statement while clarifying that no arrests were immediately planned.

According to ABC7 several firearms were seized during the raid, “including a long gun propped up against a hot tub in the backyard.”

Earlier this year Paul made his professional boxing debut on the undercard of Logan Paul vs. KSI 2. He picked up a first-round TKO victory over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib. It is unclear how or if his upcoming bout scheduled for September 12 will be impacted by this ongoing legal problem.

If you needed more crazy news, YouTuber Jake Paul will be boxing former NBA guard Nate Robinson on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. event.

It was officially announced earlier today that Tyson would come out of retirement to face fellow former heavyweight champion Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition match taking place September 12 in California.

If that news wasn’t crazy enough, it was soon announced that Paul and Robinson would also be competing on the undercard of the event. The news was first broken by NBA reporter Shams Charania with quotes from the pair.

“I wanted to show that I’m a world class athlete,” Robinson said. “I played college football, played in the NBA for 11 years, and I’m excited to venture into the sport of boxing. Jake Paul, I want all the smoke.”

“I am excited to partner with Triller and get in the ring to fight an elite athlete,” Paul said. “But make no mistake, on September 12th, Nate will meet the canvas early.”

Robinson replied to the tweet soon after as well.

“JaKe PaUl Is WiNnInG gUyS. Jakes a youtuber, I’m coming for the ?”

Paul Set For Second Boxing Bout

Paul made his professional boxing debut in January earlier this year when he TKO’d fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib.

And while Robinson has no professional boxing experience, he will undoubtedly be a much tougher foe given his athletic background.

Dillon Danis was planning on attending the highly-anticipated fight between Logan Paul and KSI this weekend. However, it appears Danis has been banned from the show.

Danis has been gunning for a fight with Logan’s brother, Jake, for some time now. Their social media beef has been making the rounds online, hyping a potential clash. Danis Tweeted out his intention to sit ringside at Paul vs. KSI II as early as this week.

“i will be ringside at the Logan Paul vs KSI fight on saturday night, @jakepaul act accordingly.”

But according to journalist Helen Yee, Danis has been banned from the event, and labeled as a “high risk.”

This sparked a reaction from Danis online, who called out promoter Eddie Hearn for banning him, after – as Danis claims – he made the fight between Paul and KSI “relevant”

“i made this logan paul fight relevant, how are you gonna ban me from entering the arena @EddieHearn?”

Danis is currently undefeated in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career under the Bellator MMA banner. His superb jiu-jitsu skills have proven dominant inside the cage thus far. Now, Danis is calling for a fight with Jake Paul, and is willing to do it in either MMA or boxing. It remains to be seen if any such contest will ever come to fruition.

It looks like Dillon Danis is serious about fighting YouTube star Jake Paul amidst their current beef with one another.

Danis took to Twitter last night (Thurs. September 26, 2019) to claim he has signed his end of a contract to fight Paul, urging the YouTube standout to sign his end and give the people what they want to see.

Danis and Paul have been going back-and-forth with one another online for some time now. Things have gotten personal in their exchanges, with Danis mentioning Paul’s wife (although it’s widely believed their marriage is a publicity stunt), and Paul mentioning Danis’ girlfriend.

It’s unclear what the terms of a potential fight between the pair would be. Paul competed on an amateur boxing show put on by himself, his brother Logan, and fellow YouTube star KSI in August of last year. There, he defeated KSI’s brother, Deji Olatunji, via TKO in the fifth round of their six-round bout.

As for Danis, he is a professional mixed martial artist and jiu-jitsu star who is currently 2-0 in his career competing under the Bellator MMA banner. Danis last fought back at Bellator 222 where he submitted Max Humphrey in the first round. It’s unlikely Paul would accept an MMA fight with Danis, so any form of combat competition between the pair would likely be boxing.

Of course, Danis is currently 2-0 in MMA and is competing in Bellator. Jake Paul, meanwhile, is a famous YouTube and Disney star who is looking to box on his brother’s card against KSI in November.

The two of them sent several tweets at each other about Danis saying he ‘teabagged’ Jake Paul’s wife, while Paul responded that Danis waited in line to get a picture with her. Now, Paul took to Twitter to say, “dillon danis peak was when he got punched by Khabib.”

Danis then sent a reply with a very vulgar Tweet.

“your peak is being able to taste Dillon Danis’ dick every night you kiss your wife,” he wrote.

Danis last fought back at Bellator 222 where he submitted Max Humphrey in the first round. In his MMA debut at Bellator 198, he submitted Kyle Walker by toe hold in the first round. “El Jefe” trains at SBG Ireland and is Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach and one of the best jiu-jitsu practitioners in Bellator.

Jake Paul, meanwhile, has called for a boxing fight with Dillon Danis at KSI vs. Logan Paul 2 on DAZN. However, whether or not Danis will be able to compete on the card is to be seen. And, the younger Paul brother has yet to be confirmed to fight on the card.
