“So this the bum ass mfa that stole my wallet and used my credit card!!! If yall know who this dudes name or location lmk!!!”
While Hill may be facing some hurdles outside the Octagon, things are going far better under the UFC banner. Hill is currently the No. 10-ranked 205-pounder in the UFC. He finds himself on a two-fight win streak.
Hill’s recent victories include names such as Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker, both by way of first-round knockout. His performances have been impressive enough to land him a main event tilt with former title challenger Thiago Santos.
The pair will headline UFC on ESPN 40 on August 6. A venue and location has yet to be announced for the event.

Rising UFC light heavyweight contender Jamahal Hill has stated that a fight between him and current title contender Jiri Prochazka “has to happen” at some point in the near future.
Jamahal Hill recently sat down with the UFC to discuss the entire 205lb top 15. ‘Sweet Dreams’ had notable comments for several of his fellow light heavyweights, such as Ryan ‘Superman’ Spann, stating that:
“Oh, Supergirl. Bro, he’s just weird. He said some s**t earlier on in Twitter that just made me- that just rubbed me the wrong way, you know. He’s not as good as he thinks he is. But whatever, we’ll see, maybe one day he can get these f***ing hands. Supergirl.”
He also had some choice words to say about Switzerland’s Volkan Oezdemir, remarking that:
“He’s still ranked? Like damn. Nah I’m just talking s**t. I mean, bro I don’t even know what to say about him. I don’t want to say nothing about him but Volkan Oezdemir, f*cking weird. Slow as hell. Thinks he’s better than he is. Come get these hands. Stop talking, don’t say nothing. Just come get these hands, b**ch.”
However, one opponent that Hill did not disparage, and instead appeared to hold great respect for, was Jiri ‘Denisa’ Prochazka. Hill stated that:
“Jiri Prochazka. Exciting, flows well, comes to bang, a superstar. Somebody who I absolutely have to share the cage with. This has to happen. This has to happen. And I’m telling you this bro, because when it does happen, it’s gonna be one of the best fights the people have ever seen.”
What is next for Jamahal Hill?
Whilst Jamahal Hill may well have his sights set on a future fight with Jiri Prochazka, he does have an opponent currently booked himself. ‘Sweet Dreams’ is set to headline an upcoming UFC Fight Night event, facing off against former title challenger Thiago Santos.
Hill is currently riding back-to-back first-round KO wins, having defeated both Johnny Walker and Jimmy Crute. Should he manage to overcome the No.6 ranked Santos, Hill will catapult himself right into the title picture at 205lbs. With the current champ, Glover Teixeira, stating that 2022 will be his last year competing in MMA, Hill may well find himself in his dream fight with Prochazka sooner rather than later.

Hill’s manager, Brian Butler-Au, arranged for content creator ImReddttv to pretend to be on the phone and trash talk the 205-pound prospect. After a brief verbal exchange, Hill grabbed the prankster before Butler-Au intervened and admitted it was all a prank.
Hill is not one to let trash talk go unchallenged. He and Paul Craig had an altercation in the fighter hotel just days before their fight at UFC 263.
Hill has rebounded in a big way since suffering a loss to Craig at UFC 263. He’s earned back-to-back knockouts over Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker and is slated to face Thiago Santos in August.
Hill made his UFC debut back in 2020 after earning a contract through Dana White’s Contender Series. He would go on to pick up wins over Ovince St. Preux and Darko Stoši? to begin his UFC tenure.
With one more win on his record, Hill could begin closing in on a light heavyweight title shot. However, his management and close friends should tread lightly when planning out pranks going forward.

A UFC light heavyweight battle between former title challenger Thiago Santos and rising contender Jamahal Hill is set to headline an August 6th Fight Night.
MMA Junkie was among the first to report the news of the Santos vs. Hill booking.
This will be the fourth UFC main event in his last five fights for Santos, who is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Magomed Ankalaev in March. He earned a win over Johnny Walker just a fight before after dropping three-straight against Jon Jones, Glover Teixeira, and Aleksandar Rakic.
Santos challenged Jones for the light heavyweight title back at UFC 239, losing a split decision. Despite suffering injuries in both legs during the fight, he was able to battle through five grueling rounds and give Jones some issues.
Santos will face another tough challenge against the rising Hill, who is coming off of back-to-back knockouts over Jimmy Crute and Walker. His lone defeat in the UFC came against Paul Craig at UFC 263, as he suffered an arm injury and was finished with strikes from guard.
Hill earned a shot in the UFC after knocking out Alexander Poppeck on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2019. He went on to pick up wins over Darko Stosic and Ovince St. Preux over his next few fights.
Hill and Santos are looking to keep pace in the light heavyweight title race. The champion, Teixeira, will make his first title defense against Jiri Procházka at UFC 275 on June 11.
A location and venue for the Santos vs. Hill fight have yet to be announced.
