Disgraced MMA coach James Krause proudly declares that he is $5 million in debt:

Disgraced MMA coach James Krause reemerged online this week, proudly declaring that he is $5 million in debt.

In 2022, Krause was banned from the UFC after an investigation was launched following a massive shift in betting lines just before his fighter Darrick Minner lost to Shayilan Nuerdanbieke via a 70-second TKO at UFC Vegas 64. Minner was promptly released and the promotion made it clear that any fighter who continues to associate themselves with Krause would no longer be permitted to compete under the UFC banner.

James Krause and Darrick Minner

UFC flyweight standout and notable Krause fighter Jeff Molina was also suspended in December 2022 after the Nevada State Athletic Commission uncovered evidence suggesting that he was involved with the alleged gaming scheme in a “substantial way.”

Krause, Minner, and Molina remain indefinitely suspended by the NSAC as an investigation into the betting scandal continues.

James Krause promotes his real estate career in latest post

Following his suspension and a split with his Glory MMA and Fitness gym in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Krause has shifted his focus from combat sports to real estate. In a recent post on social media, the embattled ex-coach is offering his expertise to those hoping to follow in his footsteps and find a career in property management.

“I’m in over 5 million dollars of debt and don’t lose a second of sleep over it,” Krause wrote on Facebook before attempting to promote his real estate coaching group.

No timeline has been given for when the NSAC may conclude its investigation, but the problems for Krause and his co-conspirators will likely be far from over once a decision is rendered as they could potentially face financial or criminal penalties as a result of the scandal.

James Krause

Before being banned by the UFC, James Krause went 28-8 as a professional fighter. He retired from competing in 2020 to pursue a career as a coach. Along the way, he worked with a slew of UFC prospects and contenders — most notably former flyweight world champion Brandon Moreno.

‘The Assassin Baby’ cut ties with Krause shortly after the UFC banned the former fighter.

Jeff Molina blackmail attempt come out bisexual UFC

UFC flyweight contender, Jeff Molina has confirmed that a blackmail attempt over a “petty” issue involving him, led to the release of an intimate video of him across social media last week, leading to him coming out as bisexual in a statement subsequently released.

Molina, who has competed three times under the UFC banner since his move to the Dana White-led banner back in 2021, released a statement in the aftermath of the video leak across social media, coming out as bisexual, however, confirmed that the method in which he came out was not one in which he had initially intended

“TLDR (too long didn’t read) I’m bi [bisexual],” Jeff Molina wrote. “Not the way I wanted to do this but the chance to do it when I was ready was taken from me. I’ve tired to keep my dating life private from social media. I’ve dated girls my whole life and suppressed feelings I had throughout high school on the wrestling team, throughout college pursuing MMA, and even after making part of the dream happen and getting into the UFC.”

Jeff Molina opens up on blackmail attempt on him last week

Appearing on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani this week, New Jersey native, Molina explained how an attempted blackmail of him led to the release of an intimate video of him across social media last week.

“The guy who posted it wanted an apology form me for something petty,” Jeff Molina said. “I think it was the second post that I got like two to three DMs on Twitter like, ‘Sned me $10,000 or $25,000 or I’m going to post this.’… Immediately it’s like my life is in shambles. I’m going through it, I’m bawling.”

“A couple hours went by and I got an influx of support, it was heartwarming to get messages from fellow athletes that are closeted, fellow UFC fighters that are closeted, people with notoriety that were just like, ‘Hey, man, it’s an inspiration, and it sucks on the terms that it happened, but you’re an inspiration, it’s inspiring for you to come out and be the first male UFC fighter to be out.’” Jeff Molina explained.

Issued a suspension by both the Nevada State Athletic Commission and the New York State Athletic Commission back in November of last year, Molina is alleged be connected to the ongoing investigation into a betting and gamble scandal involving his former head coach and UFC welterweight and lightweight alum, James Krause.

UFC middleweight cotender Sean Strickland has gone off at the mouth again against another fellow fighter, this time flyweight prospect Jeff Molina.

This stems from a personal video that was recently leaked, a video in which Molina was intimate with another man, which caused Molina to post the following to his Twitter account on Friday:

“Not the way I wanted to do this but the chance to do it when I was ready was taken away from me. I’ve tried to keep my dating life private from social media.

“The thought of my buddies, teammates, and (people) I look up to looking at me different let alone treating me different for something I can’t control was something I couldn’t fathom.

“I wanted to be known for my skills and what I’ve dedicated the last 11 years of my life to not and not the ‘bi ufc fighter’ that I’m sure would just be translated to ‘gay UFC fighter.’”

Sean Strickland then decided to call Molina out for the matter, as well as accusing him of being a cheat:

“Jeff Molina suspended indefinitely for rigging fights, ruining MMA..

Everyone “POS”

Jeff Molina “I may of sucked a cock”

Everyone “you’re so brave”

What the actual CNN is going on here.. Bro we don’t care that you fuck dudes its 2023 we care that you’re a pos cheater…”

Strickland believes Molina to be a gambling cheat due to his relations with James Krause, who’s been looked at very closely regarding fixed fights as of late.

Some fans have taken a stance against Sean Strickland’s choices of words, as they often do, stating that the two matters and not one in the same. They’re right, but any time Strickland gets to rip someone, you know he’s going to take that opportunity.

Jeff Molina hasn’t fought since his split decision victory over Zhalgas Zhumagulov back in June of 2022, while Sean Strickland just picked up a win over Nassourdine Imavov earlier this year in December.

At the end of the day, I know my character, morals, and who I am as a person. As much as I’m getting hated/sh*tted on, I’m getting an equal amount of support & it means a f*ck ton.”

In the midst of a three-fight winning run since joining the UFC, Molina, 25, most recently defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov in a split decision victory at UFC Vegas 56 back in June of last year.

According to reports by ESPN, Glory MMA & Fitness coach James Krause was involved as an agent for offshore sportsbook ABCBetting.ag. Since his suspension from MMA in December, new evidence has come to light regarding fighters under Krause, and at the forefront, Jeff Molina.

Molina began training with Krause as far back as 2017, and his involvement in Krause’s betting scheme has been unveiled.

“Evidence has come to light, leading to allegations that respondent Jeff Molina was involved in some substantial way in the gaming scheme currently under ongoing investigation related to James Krause,” Nevada Attorney General’s Office representative Joel Bekker said. “Based on this evidence pursuant to NRS 467.117, executive director (Jeff) Mullen temporarily suspended the respondent’s license on Dec. 15, 2022. It is now being requested this suspension be continued pending the resolution of investigations and any subsequent disciplinary action.” (H/T MMA Junkie)

Jeff Molina Encouraged Betting with Krause

The specific details of Molina’s involvement are omitted, however, ESPN reported that he encouraged prospective members to join a gambling group that was run by Krause:

“He’s trained w/ a lot of the fighters, lives and breathes this sport as a coach/fighter, & at times has the scoop on injuries — non-announced matchups — how fighters look like in camp, etc.,” Molina reportedly wrote in the group. “In stocks, this is called insider trading, in MMA betting it’s called James Krause. For the last 6 months, all my bills including mortgage and car note have been paid via Krause’s picks. Do yourself a favor and join the VIP.” (H/T MMA Junkie)

Coinciding with Molina’s suspension on Tuesday, the UFC have announced that Molina has also been removed from the roster. He leaves the promotion with a 3-0 record in the UFC octagon and an overall professional MMA record of 11-2.

Once a rising prospect in the Flyweight division, Molina is now indefinitely suspended pending the ongoing investigation of the entire scandal. Hopefully, more details emerge, and we can get some more clarity on the specifics of Molina’s involvement. Until then, the potential that Molina once had is potential unrealized.

Molina, 25, a current UFC flyweight fighter, currently holds the #13 rank in the organization’s official rankings, most recently securing a split decision win over Zhalgas Zhumagulov at UFC Vegas 56 in June of this year.

According to an initial report by ESPN reporters, David Purdum, and Marc Raimondi, a reason for Jeff Molina’s suspension from the NSAC is not listed, however, a source with access to the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports (ABC) internal database informed ESPN that Molina’s suspension is currently marked as “uncategorized”, ahead of a meeting scheduled with the NSAC in January of next year.

At the time of his suspension, Jeff Molina was expected to fight the returning, Jimmy Flick at an upcoming UFC Vegas 67 event in January next, however, withdrew from the bout on December 3. last, a day after the UFC confirmed combatants under their banner who continued to train under James Krause would be suspended from UFC events

Krause, and now-former UFC featherweight contender, Darrick Minner were both issued suspensions on their licenses from the NSAC, in relation to the latter’s November 5. first round TKO loss to Shayilan Nuerdianbieke, in which suspicious betting activity was flagged.

ESPN attempted to receive comment from NSAC executive director Jeff Mullen amid Molina’s suspension by the commission, however, stressed he could not issue comment “until the meeting support material is released.”
