Jessica-Rose Clark breaks her silence on being pulled by UFC doctors after having some issues with her weight cut. It all started once Clark was sent to the hospital on Friday morning while trying to cut weight. This was after Clark had complications and later, she was released from the hospital but not allowed to fight.
Clark was hoping to rebound from a decision loss to Jessica Eye at UFC Fight Night 132 in Singapore. This fight back in June snapped a three-fight winning streak that she had. This string included decision victories over Bec Rawlings and Paige VanZant.
After taking several hours to recover and deal with the fact that after all of this preparation, she couldn’t fight. Thus, she decided to break her silence. This is when she took to her official Twitter account where she wrote the following:
“I’m ok. Really upset, but happy to be here. This camp has been a roller coaster but I thought it would all be ok when I got to fight. Weight cut was more on track than any before. Body gave up on me though. Lesson learned. I’ll post a video later tonight. Thanks for all the love.”
UFC on FOX 31 (also known as UFC Milwaukee) is set to take place on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

UFC Flyweight Andrea Lee is discouraged about her fight cancellation this weekend, but she’s already looking forward after her latest setback.
Lee was supposed to fight Jessica Rose-Clark at this weekend’s UFC on FOX 31 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. However, Rose-Clark was deemed medically unfit to fight and pulled from the fight.
Obviously disappointed, Lee took to social media to address her fans, and she was all class.
“Sorry guys my fight was scratched, it’s kinda funny actually, considering how crappy 2018 has been. I’ve made no excuses though, I came prepared, I trained hard, camp was AMAZING, I water loaded, I ate my meals, I started my cut as soon as I stepped off the plane, actually before I got on the plane, I cut all day yesterday and was at 128 when I went to bed and woke up at 127, I’m always ready. I know Jess wanted to fight as badly as I did and it’s just unfortunate how these things turn out, I hope she is well and healthy. It sucks for the both of us. Please don’t talk shit, it’s over and we are focused on the next. Auction for the hat starts now and will end dec 18, bidding starts 150$. DM me or message me below.”
During her weight cut, Clark lost consciousness. She was transported to a local hospital where UFC officials subsequently ruled her out of Saturday’s event. Matchmakers were unable to find a suitable
UFC on FOX 31 will take place at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The card will move on with 12 fights now due to this unfortunate situation.

Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Andrea Lee has been scrapped from the UFC on FOX 31 event after a situation took place on Friday.
The scheduled women’s flyweight bout between the two stars was pulled once UFC doctors scrapped the fight. The reason was due to it being ruled that Clark was unfit to compete.
The news was first reported by by MYMMANews. It all started once Clark was sent to the hospital on Friday morning. This was after Clark had complications from her weight cut. The good news is that she was released from the hospital but not allowed to fight.
The UFC issued the following statement on this fight being pulled:
“On Friday morning UFC flyweight Jessica-Rose Clark was deemed medically unfit to compete by UFC physicians. As a result the scheduled flyweight bout with Clark and Andrea Lee has been cancelled.”
