Khabib Nurmagomedov responds to Conor McGregor in the latest saga of exchanging words between the two rivals.

The heat kicked up yet again on Friday once the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion took some shots at Khabib by calling him a “broke b—h.” This led to him then going after boxer Paulie Malignaggi.

Well, it didn’t take too long for the UFC lightweight champion to fire back and give a reminder to Mr. McGregor through the power of social media. He wrote in a recent post shared on his Twitter account, “You will live with this shame all your life, bi… #tapmachine #mactaper.”

Obviously, this is a play off the finish of their fight. As seen in the main event of UFC 229 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nurmagomedov beat McGregor by fourth-round neck crank.

Before this bout, he won the vacant title. Although, he had to go through some hurdles to make it happen in the main event of the UFC 223. It went through three official changes that include the UFC attempted to book Nurmagomedov against Tony Ferguson as well as Max Holloway and eventually fighting Al Iaquinta.

Now, Khabib is awaiting the decision made by the Nevada State Athletic Commision (NSAC) for his punishment in the UFC 229 brawl. They won’t have another meeting until January 29.

Dustin Poirier deserves a big fight at lightweight. And “The Diamond” has his eyes set on two of the division’s biggest stars.

Poirier recently took to Twitter and clarified he wants a fight with either 155-pound champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, or Tony Ferguson next:

Poirier is currently on a four-fight win streak. He has finished his last three fights via TKO. His victories have been over elite competition such as Anthony Pettis, Justin Gaethje, and Eddie Alvarez. Poirier was scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 230 in November but unfortunately suffered an injury and couldn’t make the date.

Now, he’s waiting for another match-up, which will likely be the biggest of his career. Khabib is currently awaiting punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for his involvement in the post-UFC 229 brawl. With that being said, a fight against Ferguson is likely. “El Cucuy” is on an 11-fight win streak and is long overdue for a title opportunity.

He might just have to face Poirier before finally getting a shot at his long-awaited fight with “The Eagle.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov reunites with the squad involved in the UFC 229 brawl for a recent photo that was shared on social media.

After the UFC 229 headliner, the UFC lightweight champion went flying out of the Octagon. He got into a brawl with some of Conor McGregor’s teammates, mainly training partner Dillon Danis.

The UFC champ took to his official Twitter account where she showed off a photo with his team while using a quote made famous by McGregor. The quote was, “If one of us go to the war, we all go to the war.”

In the photo, Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Khabib, Esedulla Emiragaev, Islam Mamedov, Islam Makhachev, and Zubaira Tukhugov are shown. If you recall, Emiragaev and Tukhugov both went to war alongside Khabub during the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

The caption of the photo read, “If one of us go to the war, We all go to the war…but it’s different story. Deeds will always be above words.”

The Nevada State Athletic Commision (NSAC) won’t have another meeting until January 29. This is where Khabib is expected to get his punishment. NSAC chief Bob Bennett has made his stance known by stating that he puts part of the blame on both fighters’ managers.

Tukhugov is in question as he jumped the cage and blindsided McGregor. This was in the middle of the chaos that ensued.

Conor McGregor Should Stop the Nonsense and Refocus on Khabib Nurmagomedov

Conor McGregor doesn’t owe anybody anything. He doesn’t owe the UFC. They’ve earned quite a few dollars on McGregor’s back. Ditto the sport itself, which sees vertical spikes in its trend lines every time he competes…
