Michael Chandler is doing some “plotting” with Machine Gun Kelly ahead of his highly anticipated clash with Conor McGregor.

On Saturday, June 29, the Irish megastar will return to the Octagon for the first time in nearly three years when he headlines UFC 303 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. With their scrap just a few weeks away, ‘Iron’ appears to be playing some mind games with McGregor after posting a picture with Grammy Award-nominated artist Machine Gun Kelly.

McGregor and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, nearly threw hands during a brief interaction at the MTV Music Awards in 2021. To this day, nobody knows what caused the near-scuffle, but rumors immediately began flying that the animosity was the result of McGregor allegedly sending a direct message to Kelly’s girlfriend, actress Megan Fox.

However, representatives for McGregor have denied that narrative.

Recently, Chandler posted a picture with Kelly in what felt like a pretty clear dig at McGregor.

Michael Chandler and MGK taunting Conor McGregor

“63 days…. Plotting with ?@machinegunkelly,” Chandler wrote on X.

After Kelly opted not to comment on his interaction with McGregor, the Irishman told Entertainment Tonight”

“Absolutely nothing happened. I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy. Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”

McGregor reignited his rivalry with MGK after the incident, commenting on a video of Kelly riding a skateboard on social media. “Watch out guys we got a badass over here,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted post.

Conor McGregor isn’t the only UFC fighter Machine Gun Kelly has had a bad experience with

It’s certainly not the first time that Machine Gun Kelly has had a run-in with a former MMA world champion. While attending a Power Slap event during Super Bowl weekend, Sean Strickland took issue with Kelly’s attire, telling him to “dress like a f*cking man” and likening him to a vampire.

“I don’t know who the f*ck that guy is,” Strickland tells the cameraman before yelling, “I’m easy to find, vampire man.”

Strickland offered some additional insight into the incident on his YouTube channel.

“I met some good people. Cowboy [Cerrone] was there. I met a vampire, apparently [the] guy dating Megan Fox,” Strickland said of meeting MGK. “You had some Transformers with a broken down car. I don’t know what happened to Megan Fox, but something happened to Megan Fox.

“I don’t know who did it, but I wanna find that man. I wanna have a conversation with him ’cause me and you, dude, we’re not cool. I meet this vampire-like, ‘Dude, you wake up every day and you dress like a vampire.’ I don’t know if he does or doesn’t. Maybe just a wardrobe. But dude, you dress like a vampire man. You look like the goth kid on South Park. And you go out in the world like this, like this only happens because you are in an insulated bubble” (h/t LoudWire).

Jake Paul Suggests ‘Idiot’ Conor McGregor Mistook MGK For Him

Jake Paul

Jake Paul has suggested that Conor McGregor’s attack on Machine Gun Kelly at the MTV VMAs was a classic case of mistaken identity.

For those with short memories, McGregor got into a heated altercation with the musician on the red carpet, drinks and punches were thrown. Initially, it was reported that the scuffle began when MGK refused to take a picture with the UFC superstar. Later is was said that McGregor had been sliding into the DMs of Kelly’s girlfriend, Megan Fox.

The YouTuber, who has been relentlessly trolling McGregor to try and get a fight over the last year, has another theory on what sparked the now infamous brawl.

“Some people are saying that Conor McGregor mistook him for me because we look the same, like blonde hair, little bit tall,” Paul told ESPN.

“That was like the rumour that happened, I think it’s hilarious. Conor McGregor is a real fighter, why is he on a celebrity red carpet throwing drinks at Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly? It’s just disrespectful.

“But Kells handled himself like a professional, he didn’t get hot, he didn’t retaliate because I think he knows that Conor just looked like an idiot. This guy is falling apart and trying to find any reason to get attention.” (Transcribed by Talk Sport)

McGregor has since spoken publicly to squash his beef with the pop star. UFC president, Dana White also played down the situation after speaking with both men he labeled the incident a “misunderstanding”.

The Irishman is currently healing up after suffering a nasty leg break in the first round of this third fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. McGregor has just begun to walk unaided and is now itching to get back to kicking the bag ahead of his summer 2022 comeback.

Paul is fresh off the biggest win of his short boxing career. The 24-year-old survived some scary moments to outpoint former UFC champion, Tyron Woodley, over eight rounds. Paul has since been targeting a fight with Jorge Masvidal, but the UFC bosses have no interest in releasing one of their biggest stars from his current contract.

Do you think Jake Paul is right? Could Conor McGregor have mistaken Machine Gun Kelly for him?

Former champion and UFC color commentator Michael Bisping is familiar with how Conor McGregor acted at the 2021 MTV Music Video Awards on Sunday, insinuating that the superstar was wasted on pain medication.

McGregor, UFC’s biggest cash cow, was seen in a scuffle with the multi-platinum recording artist Machine Gun Kelly. After a brief altercation, “The Notorious” chucked his open beverage at the enigmatic rock star. McGregor can be seen walking around with a black cane as he continues the recovery process. Here is a video that captured some of the chaos that unfolded.

According to McGregor’s team, the superstar never asked MGK for a picture despite numerous outlets reporting as such. Outside of the fact that MGK attended Conor McGregor’s last fight, the two do not know each other.

McGregor was last seen in the Octagon in a trilogy match against Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier. The fight started furiously, and after McGregor was taken to the ground, things only got worse. After getting up at the end of the round, the Irish superstar launched a punch only for his ankle to snap from under him.

The image of McGregor screaming in the corner for a doctor stoppage was certainly stark. Since then, McGregor has been on the mend, healing up his damaged leg. In the eyes of Michael Bisping, he has seen this story before. In fact, he’s seen it in himself.

“I’ve been there,” Bisping said on his “Believe You Me” podcast. “I mean, I’ve not been there doing that at the MTV f*cking music awards. What I mean is that I’ve had surgery, and the medication that they give you, you lose your f*cking mind. I think a lot of that was (Sunday) because he was out of his mind, on the pain pills because that’s how it goes.

Bisping has undergone various surgeries throughout his storied MMA career but retired from the sport following his knockout loss to Kelvin Gastelum in Shanghai, China in late 2017. With experience taking painkillers for surgeries, Bisping explained that they really change the way your mind operates.

“They make you very f*cking antsy, very erratic, very angry. Me and Callum, Callum is the calmest kid ever. Callum was f*cking arguing with everything I was saying when he had surgery. They kind of make you like that. I don’t know. I’m not making excuses for him, but just from what I saw, I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ve had that feeling before.’” Bisping reiterated.

The former middleweight champion is no stranger to going under the knife. Bisping has endured surgery several times throughout his career, which includes neck surgery and an operation to replace both of his knees. With how the narcotics affected Bisping’s mind, he is not surprised to see McGregor acting out against a celebrity on his off time.

Do you agree with Michael Bisping? Is Conor McGregor abusing painkillers?

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping has commented on Conor McGregor’s recent scuffle with music star Machine Gun Kelly on the MTV VMAs red carpet at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

A couple of explanations for the scuffle have already been offered up. It was originally reported that the confrontation was triggered by MGK refusing to take a picture with McGregor. Later, it was suggested that the former dual-weight UFC champion had been slipping into the DMs of Kelly’s girlfriend, Megan Fox.

Bisping explained why he thinks McGregor and the music artist ended up in a confrontation, citing the possibility of McGregor being pain meds from his leg injury.

Bisping was recently on the receiving end of McGregor’s rage. The British MMA legend got into a social media spat with ‘Notorious’ who wasn’t afraid to hit below the belt during the online beef. Things between the two had quietened down as of late, it’s unclear if Bisping’s latest comments will restart the rivalry.

Do you think Michael Bisping could be right? Is Conor McGregor’s recent erratic behavior due to being dosed up on pain pills for his broken leg?

Dana White isn’t worried about Conor McGregor after his run-in with Machine Gun Kelly at the VMA’s on Sunday.

The UFC’s biggest star got into a physical altercation with the recording artist. It was originally reported that the confrontation was triggered by MGK refusing to take a picture with McGregor. Later, it was suggested that the former dual-weight UFC champion had been slipping into the DMs of Kelly’s girlfriend, Megan Fox.

Whatever the reason for McGregor and Kelly’s beef, it now appears to have been squashed.

The UFC president recently revealed to media that he had spoken to both men and it was all just one big misunderstanding.

“I talked to both. actually,” White said following Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 39 event. “They’re all good now. (It was) A misunderstanding, or whatever it was.”

White insists he’s not concerned about McGregor’s recent erratic behaviour.

“Guys, this is the fight business,” White said. “I got 700 lunatics under contract here. What do you guys think – these are the things that happen sometimes. This isn’t Microsoft. We’re in a crazy f*ckin’ business here.

“I think we all know Conor’s personality, and we’ve got some guys that were like that. These guys are fighters, and this is the fight business. Crazy sh*t happens in the fight business.”

“There’s all the sh*t that you guys know about because it happens in public,” White added. “Nevermind the sh*t you don’t know about that happens every day.” (Transcribed by MMA Junkie)

McGregor is currently in recovery after suffering a nasty leg break just one round into his third fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Irishman recently revealed he feels ready to start kicking again but has been advised by medical professionals to wait a bit longer. ‘Notorious’ is expected to make his eagerly anticipated return to the Octagon in the summer of next year.

Do you think Dana White should be concerned about Conor McGregor’s recent behaviour?
