The MMA world has its collective sights focused on this Saturday’s (October 8, 2016) UFC 204 from Manchester Arena in Manchester, England and its pivotal middleweight championship main event featuring native son Michael Bisping and longtime rival Dan Henderson.

Their backstory is possibly one of MMA’s most legendary, as “Hendo” knocked out Bisping with probably the most aired one-punch knockout in UFC history when he demolished “The Count” with his infamous overhand right at 2009’s historic UFC 100 following a long and heated stint as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

A lot has happened since then, as the 46-year-old ‘Hendo,’ despite his recent amazing win over former Bellator champion Hector Lombard, has still lost six of his last nine bouts, including three by knockout. Bisping, on the other hand, is at the top of his game at 37 years old, having finally captured the elusive title belt with a shocking upset over a heavily favored Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.

It all makes for quite the interesting main event in Manchester. Who are you picking to win?

Coach: Bisping Will Knock Out Henderson – With A Head Kick

The MMA world will shift its ever-evolving focus onto this weekend’s (Sat., October 8, 2015) UFC 204 from Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, where unlikely UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will take on legendary veteran Dan Henderson in a rematch of their UFC 100 classic when ‘Hendo’ knocked out ‘The Count’ with quite possibly them most infamous UFC knockout of all time.

But the tables would at least appear to be turned, as Bisping is coming off the most torrid stretch of his lengthy career with a win over all-time great Anderson Silva that lead into his shocking knockout of then-champion Luke Rockhold at June’s UFC 199. ‘Hendo’ is 46 years old and heading into the final fight of his storied career – win or lose – so the odds dictate Bisping will be able to defend his crown in his backyard.

Bisping’s striking coach Jason Parillo thinks he’s going to do just that quite emphatically, however. In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Parillo predicted that Bisping would get his revenge with a one-shot knockout of his own:

So we’re just going to go one shot. Every time I get asked these questions, I go with the one shot. If it ends from one shot, I’ll tell you what shot it’s gonna be. It’s gonna be a head kick. He’s gonna knock out Dan Henderson with a head kick. Left head kick. He’s gonna knock him out with a left head kick.”

Quite the prediction from Parillo, who is currently one of the more successful coaches in the UFC with Bisping and Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino. Despite its boldness, however, it may not be all that surprising considering that Henderson has lost by first-round stoppage in an increasing number of fights despite his impressive win over former Bellator champ Hector Lombard, also at UFC 199.

Do you agree with Parillo’s brash prediction, or will ‘Hendo’ shock the world one final time by knocking out ‘The Count’ yet again?

Last month, UFC President Dana White announced that newly minted middleweight champion Michael Bisping would be making the first defense of his 185-pound title against aging veteran Dan “Hendo” Henderson in a rematch of their UFC 100 bout where Henderson scored one of the most iconic knockouts in sport history. Despite “Hendo” being ranked outside of the top 10, fans appeared to be interested in the bout, and White said that it was being targeted for October in Manchester, Bisping’s home.

Now, however, the bout has officially been confirmed. MMAFighting.com has reported that two veterans will be squaring off in the main event of October 8’s UFC 204 from Manchester, England. “The Count” also announced the bout earlier today (August 4, 2016) on his SiriusXM radio show.

Bisping shocked the world at June 4’s UFC 199, knocking out then champion Luke Rockhold in the very first round of their rematch. What made the victory so sensational, however, was that the Brit accepted the bout on extremely short notice after Chris Weidman had been forced to withdraw. Prior to beating Rockhold, Bisping had won three straight over Thales Leites, C.B Dolloway, and Anderson Silva.

Henderson, on the other hand, is coming off of a brutal stoppage victory over Hector Lombard also at UFC 199, although the American had hit some rough times prior to that, losing three of four. At age 45, Henderson has said that win or lose, this rematch will be his last fight.

Who do you see taking home middleweight gold on October 8th?
