The past year has been a tough one professionally for UFC heavyweight veteran Mark Hunt, and it doesn’t seem to be getting any easier.

Today a picture began to run rampant throughout the mixed martial arts (MMA) community showcasing an Asian company’s action figure of Hunt, fully nude with his penis on full blast as, well as what ‘The Super Samoan’ calls, ‘man boobs.’ Hunt took to his official Instagram account to share the photo of the horrific figure, and offer his reaction to it:

“Why would u do this to me man boobs and penis on display why bleeeee why u do it Mei Wen Ti how dare u bastards ”

This probably isn’t the time to push Hunt’s buttons, as he is in the midst of a lawsuit against the UFC and Brock Lesnar, who tested positive for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) following their meeting at UFC 200. Hunt lost that bout via unanimous decision and ate some nasty shots from Lesnar’s ground-and-pound.

The lawsuit doesn’t seem to have effected his ability to compete inside the Octagon, however, as Hunt has competed against Alistair Overeem since filing the suit and is also set to throw down with fellow knockout artist Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC Fight Night 110 this June.

What are your thoughts on the tasteless figure’s release?

Frank Mir Suspended Two Years For USADA Violation

Legendary former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir may unfortunately end his career suspended.

The 37-year-old submission expert was suspended for two years by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) according to a press release from the UFC, for his use of banned substance dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (DHCMT) in conjunction with his knockout loss to Mark Hunt in March 2016.

The press release went into detail about an out-of-competition test sample that was previously labeled negative actually being positive. The UFC described the sequence of events and Mir’s suspension overall on their USADA website:

USADA announced today that UFC® athlete, Francisco (Frank) Mir, of Las Vegas, Nev., received a two-year sanction after multiple positive tests for a prohibited substance.

Mir, 38, tested positive for a long-term metabolite of dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (DHCMT), following an in-competition test conducted on March 20, 2016, at UFC Fight Night 85 in Brisbane, Australia. DHCMT is a non-Specified Substance in the class of Anabolic Agents and prohibited at all times under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, which has adopted the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. The finding of a long-term DHCMT metabolite in Mir’s sample, which was identified through a new detection method by the WADA-accredited laboratory in Tokyo, Japan, led to Mir being provisionally suspended from competition on April 8, 2016.

Upon learning of the positive results of the sample analyzed in Tokyo, USADA had all previously collected stored samples for Mir reanalyzed at the WADA-accredited laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah (SMRTL), which had also recently implemented methodology for the detection of newly identified long-term DHCMT metabolites. As a result of the additional analyses, SMRTL discovered that an out-of-competition sample Mir provided on February 5, 2016, which had previously been reported to USADA as negative for the presence of prohibited substances, was also positive for the same long-term DHCMT metabolite found in Mir’s in-competition sample.

If the retroactive suspension is indeed the end for Mir, he’ll go down as one of the greatest heavyweights in UFC history, owning several elite records such as most wins, fights, and finishes in UFC heavyweight history. He owns the UFC record for most first-round finishes with 10 also.

But if there was any division Mir could potentially make a comeback in it’s heavyweight, as the UFC’s largest weight class is also its oldest, with many of the top competitors fighting into their late 30s and beyond. Still, Mir has absorbed 8 knockout losses and this blemish on his record doesn’t help, but should he return for one more bout in the octagon he’s made so much history in?

Brock Lesnar’s Lawyers File Motion To Dismiss Mark Hunt’s Lawsuit

Brock Lesnar is fighting back against Mark Hunt’s lawsuit against him, filing a motion to dismiss the case claiming it  “fails miserably, float[ing] on a sea of bombast” and is not “anchored in a bed of facts”. Brock Lesnar is fighting back against Mark Hunt’s lawsuit against him, filing a motion to dismiss the case claiming it  “fails miserably, float[ing] on a sea of bombast” and is not “anchored in a bed of facts”.

Hunt alleges that Lesnar’s two failed drug tests for their UFC 200 heavyweight bout is tantamount to fraud and conspiracy.

On Thursday, Lesnar’s lawyers blasted the lawsuit and asked that the suit be dismissed without allowing Hunt’s side the chance to file again.

“Plaintiff’s complaint is so devoid of any facts to support his RICO and fraud claims that it would be almost impossible for Mr. Lesnar to respond,” read the suit, which was filed in Nevada District Court by attorneys Peter S. Christansen, Kendelee Works and Howard Jacobs on behalf of Lesnar.

Lesnar defeated Hunt by unanimous decision at UFC 200 back in July, but the former UFC heavyweight champ tested positive twice for steroids, leading to the victory being overturned.

Hunt’s attorneys claim that Lesnar knowingly took steroids to cheat “The Super Samoan” out of a potential victory and winning bonus.

“He was in on this,” attorney Christina Denning told MMAjunkie in a previous interview. “He’s coming from the WWE – he’s on steroids – and he can’t sign up officially with the UFC in March, because he’s going to be dumped into this program for doping and he’s going to fail.”

Hunt has been on a warpath against Lesnar as well as the UFC ever since the former champ’s failed tests came to light, even going as far as to demand Lesnar’s entire $2.5 million purse.

However, Lesnar and his lawyers contend that Hunt cannot prove lost wages and damages due to his failed drugs screenings.

“Even if Plaintiff had won the fight against Defendant Lesnar, plaintiff has not and cannot honestly allege that significant economic opportunities would have presented themselves, beyond the opportunity that the UFC has already granted to Plaintiff even in spite of the results at UFC 200,” read Lesnar’s motion.

Hunt’s motions are expected to be heard in court on May 15.

A long legal battle between the UFC, Mark Hunt, and Brock Lesnar is about to get underway.

Following their collision in the co-main event of UFC 200 back in July, Brock Lesnar had his unanimous decision win over Hunt overturned to a No Contest after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). Although ‘The Super Samoan’ accused the WWE star of being ‘juiced to the gills’ prior to their bout, Hunt went nuts after the news came out and immediately sought legal action.

Hunt filed a lawsuit against both Lesnar and the UFC, which the promotion motioned to dismiss, however, Hunt’s legal team motioned to dismiss the UFC’s dismissal. According to Jason Cruz via Twitter, Hunt’s lawyers made the trip up to Lesnar’s home in the great white north to serve ‘The Beast’ the lawsuit:

Despite the ongoing legal battle Hunt still competed at UFC 209, the UFC’s last pay-per-view (PPV) event, against yet another opponent with a history of abusing PEDs, Alistair Overeem. Unfortunately for the Samoan he was knocked out by a vicious knee in the third round.

Lesnar has since announced his retirement from mixed martial arts (MMA) competition (again), with his last official victory coming against Shane Carwin at UFC 116 back in 2010. He followed that up with a two-fight losing skid against Cain Velasquez and Overeem, getting finished via TKO in the first round of both of those contests.

We’ll keep you updated on the legal situation between Hunt, Lesnar, and the UFC as it progresses…
