After compiling an impressive seven-fight win streak between 2012 and 2014, Matt “The Immortal” Brown has hit some rough times as of late, losing three out of his last four bouts.

Most recently competing at May 14’s UFC 198, Brown is coming off of a rather one-sided loss to Brazilian grappling wizard Demian Maia. Despite his recent troubles, he has faced off with the best the division has to offer, as his other two losses in that stretch have come at the hands of former champion Johny Hendricks and reigning title holder Robbie Lawler.

Looking to bounce back quickly, the 35-year-old Brown appears to already have his next fight set.

According to ESPN.com, “The Immortal” will meet fellow struggling veteran Jake “The Juggernaut” Ellenberger at July 30’s UFC 201 from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia live on pay-per-view (PPV).

Ellenberger has hit even rougher times than Brown as of late, losing five of his last six Octagon showings. The 31-year-old suffered a brutal stoppage loss to Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson last July, as well as a unanimous decision loss to Tarec Saffiedine last January.

This fight makes sense for both men, as each combatant is looking to rebound after disappointing losses.

UFC 201 will be headlined by an intriguing welterweight title clash as Lawler once again puts his 170-pound strap on the line against Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley.

The co-main event will also feature a title fight as dominant flyweight kingpin Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson meets veteran Wilson Reis.
