Whether you’re struggling to push out some lip-fuzz or are already rocking a Full Beltran, we’d like to take a moment to thank everybody who’s participating in Movember this year to raise cash and awareness for important men’s health issues. And we wanted to send a special shout-out to our old friend Jefferey “Karmaatemycat” Watts, who has joined up the Mo’ed Men super-network that our comrades at MadeMan.com organized.
We’ll keep the sales pitch brief: Karma has a heart of gold, and the Movember cause has personal significance to him, as several of his family members and friends have been stricken with cancer over the years. If you’ll recall, he was also one of the main driving forces behind our successful fundraising efforts for Laura “angrylittlefeet” Nicholson earlier this year. So even if you’re not growing a mo’ this year, please swing by Jefferey’s page and donate a few dollars to the cause. Every little bit helps. Any questions, let us know in the comments section. Thanks guys.

Today marks the first day of Movember, the annual men’s health awareness campaign in which participants start the month clean-shaven, then grow out their moustaches and raise money for things like testicular cancer. If you’re participating, you were supposed to shave this morning. Maybe you forgot, and if so, that’s totally cool. Some of our unemployed friends on the West Coast are still getting out of bed at this point. So no worries, guys, just step away from your computers or mobiles devices, go to the nearest bathroom, steal the nearest razor, and shave, shave, shave.
And for those like myself who lack the ability to grow a sweet moustache, you can still support the movement by chipping in a few bucks at the Made Men Are Mo’ed Men team page. Thanks for listening, and visit our Mo’ Bros at MadeMan.com to keep up with the latest in Movember-related news and events!

For most of you, Movember needs no introduction. For the rest of you, listen up: Every November (henceforth referred to as “Movember”), millions of men around the world grow out their moustaches in order to raise awareness for men’s health issues including prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health issues. These mo’d men — along with the female “Mo Sistas” in their lives — act as advocates and fundraisers, and have raised $446 million since the annual event’s inception in 2003. You can learn more about the cause at us.movember.com.
If you want to join the fight this year, register at us.movember.com, be sure to shave your grubby face on November 1st, tell your friends/family/co-workers why you’re doing it, and if you’re feeling really ambitious, start your own mo’nation team to collect funds for Movember. (What up, Karma!) Thanks for listening.
