BJ “The Prodigy” Penn (16-7-2 MMA, 12-6-2 UFC) was once the most feared lightweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Three of his first four fights in the octagon ended via punches, and while he’s regarded as a lethal submission artist, it’s Penn’s striking that has often been his opponent’s downfall.

Making the list with Penn is a current champion and three of the top five fighters with total strikes landed in UFC history are scheduled for upcoming fights.

They may not be the best of the best, or maybe they are currently title holders, but some fighters just don’t get the credit they deserve for whatever rhyme or reason.

Some fighters just go about their business, without making a lot of noise. Other fighters may make so much noise, that their accomplishments get swept under the rug. Some haven’t competed inside the Octagon, so it’s hard to know just how great they are.

Whatever the reason, here is one man’s list of the fighters who deserve more credit then they get. And if there are other fighters you feel got overlooked, be sure to name drop.

At UFC 132, Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva will step back into the Octagon after being away from the cage for well over a year.

Fans everywhere are saying the same thing: It’s about damn time.

Silva is not the most relevant fighter these days. He has won only two fights in the past five years. However, one thing about him has never changed and that is he always puts on a show for the fans.

In honor of “The Axe Murderer’s” return to the UFC, we at BR thought it would be fun to take a look at the most aggressive fighters in MMA.

For a fighter to qualify for this list, they needn’t be an all-time great. They don’t even need to be particularly good, just aggressive.

This list is reserved for fighters that are always moving forward, always pushing the pace and never letting their opponents rest.

I will admit that I was not nearly as excited as most when I heard that Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller were named coaches for season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.

That’s not to say I didn’t understand or applaud the UFC for making the call, because from a business and ratings standpoint, they were the best choice the promotion could have made. Their selection is a recipe for excitement, to say the least.

On one side you have a brash, trash-talking American who will do whatever it takes to get inside the head of his opponent. On the other side you have a trash-talking Englishman who has shown a penchant for letting the talk of others get under his skin. In short, it’s almost certain that the train runs off the tracks at some point during this season of TUF.

After letting the news sink in for a while, I thought, what could make this season even more exciting…and then it hit me…(very) special guest coaches.

I present the best choices for possible guest coaching roles during season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.
