Conor McGregor is set to return to the Octagon later this month (Sat. January 18, 2020). He’ll take on Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at 170 pounds in the UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) main event.

Ahead of the fight, Reebok has released a special “Legacy Series” shirt featuring McGregor. The shirt can be purchased for $60 and features a cartoon version of the former UFC Champ Champ. The animated version of McGregor also seems to be wearing a jogging outfit, along with a massive watch on his wrist.

The shirt, which is being called McGregor’s “walkout jersey,” is available to purchase at this link here. Check out a photo below.

One man who will be keeping a very close eye on McGregor’s return this month is Jorge Masvidal. “Gamebred” recently revealed that he’ll likely be in attendance to get a good look at the Irishman in case of a potential fight.

“Yeah, I think I’m there,” Masvidal said. “There’s a 93 percent chance that I’m there. Yeah [to watch McGregor] — a combo of things. Why not? If he’s a future opponent, why not study him in the live format?”

What do you think about the new McGregor “Legacy Series” shirts? Will you be grabbing one?

Business involving Conor McGregor and Reebok just got shut down in Europe.

The sports apparel giant obviously banks on selling a large amount of the Irishman’s t-shirts and other clothing. That won’t be happening in Europe for the time being, however.

That’s because The District Court in The Hague ruled anything with ‘McGregor’ emblazoned in big letters was unsellable. Dutch clothing brand McGregor filed a trademark claim saying products with the fighter’s last name would create confusion.

McGregor clothing brand lawyer Remco van Leeuwen discussed the courting ruling and how Reebok refused to follow (via The Independent):

”The public would be confused into believing that the clothing made by Reebok for the Irish mixed martial artist and boxer comes from the McGregor fashion house. We asked Reebok to stop selling the clothing that would confused the public but they refused.”

Reebok faces a sizable fine of 250,000 Euros if they choose to go against the court’s decision. The ruling applies across the entirety of the European Union.

The McGregor clothing doesn’t even have a working website according to MMA Mania. It was once a prominent fixture on the European fashion scene. The company is supposedly planning on releasing a new line of clothing ‘soon.’

McGregor, meanwhile, will soon return to MMA action when he meets Khabib Nurmagomedov at October’s UFC 229. The fight is leading to a building frenzy in the MMA world. It could legitimately be the biggest fight in UFC history.

Reebok will definitely miss out on a large portion of sales in the fight’s buildup.

Brazilian heavyweight Junior Albini made quite the impression during his fight against Andrei Arlovski in November.

But it wasn’t for his in-cage performance, as he lost the fight while sporting what appeared to be a large, man-sized diaper festooned with a Reebok logo.

Fans were bemused as well as bewildered at Albini’s choice of attire, but don’t expect to see him wearing it again.

As he prepares for his bout versus Aleksei Oliynyk at next weekend’s UFC 224, Albini revealed he will not be wearing his man diaper (via MMA Mania):

“On Wednesday, when we try things on, I will be sure to make it as comfortable as possible so that doesn’t happen again.”

Albini ended up losing to Arlovski by decision while adorned in the man diaper at UFC Fight Night 120 but was successful in his UFC debut after smashing Timothy Johnson midway through the first round last July.

However, fight fans best remember him for those ridiculous fight shorts against Arlovski, which resembled a diaper more than any form of combat apparel.

UFC 224 takes place on May 12, 2018, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and features a women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Amanda Nunes and top contender Raquel Pennington.
