UFC FIGHT NIGHT 215 – Undercard Bouts

Illir Latifi vs. Tyson Pedro Ryan Bader with his flying knee really put the nail in the coffin by sending Latifi’s already downward headed ranking out of the top ten. Bader has gone on to become the Bellator champ since then and Latifi on the other hand has a chance to make somewhat of a […]

Illir Latifi vs. Tyson Pedro

Ryan Bader with his flying knee really put the nail in the coffin by sending Latifi’s already downward headed ranking out of the top ten. Bader has gone on to become the Bellator champ since then and Latifi on the other hand has a chance to make somewhat of a comeback when he faces Tyson Pedro. If Latifi gets the better of Pedro in UFC Fight Night 215, he will find himself back in the top ten and that is probably the only thing on his mind right now!

Ashlee Evans-Smith vs. Sarah Moras

Both these fighters have struggled with their UFC careers thus far. At least for one of them, that is about to change at UFC 215. It is not inexperience which has let them down, both these women have a ton of fights under their belts and have yet failed to showcase any real improvement. From the looks of it, the loser here could be on her way out of UFC and into Invicta. Smith has been fighting regularly but the results haven’t turned out as she may have hoped while on the other hand, Moras has had dry spells while out injured.

Gavin Tucker vs. Rick Glenn

Glenn returned to the UFC on UFC fight night 208, but his returning fight did not go the way he would have hoped. The former WSOF featherweight champ really struggled to get going. On the other hand, Tucker made an impressive UFC debut in February and will look to put on just as impressive a fight when he comes up against Glenn. This is going to be a very unpredictable match up, and we will just have to wait and see how it plays out.

Kajan Johnson vs. Adriano Martins

The infamous Kajan Johnson is back after a two month sabbatical. He was thrown out of the UFC athlete retreat after having rejected the Reebok deal. The question on everyone’s mind is if he has been training and kept himself well conditioned, or has he slipped and gotten out of shape? His opponent is going to be Adriano Martins who has been a consistent performer thus far and will certainly be a worthy challenge for Johnson on his return.

First Fight Signed for UFC 216 Between Gavin Tucker, Rick Glenn

The UFC’s debut in Edmonton has an official bout, as Gavin Tucker welcomes Rick Glenn to Canada at UFC 216. Tucker (10-0) scored an upset in his Octagon debut earlier this year, besting Sam Sicilia for a decision victory. The 30-year-old owns eight wins by stoppage in his career. Glenn (19-4) has split his two […]

Rick Glenn Says UFC 208 Bout Didn’t go as Planned, But is ‘Blessed’ to Get Win

Rick Glenn is happy to get back in the win column. Despite nabbing a “Fight of the Night” bonus for his bout with Evan Dunham back in Sept. 2016, Glenn didn’t walk away with a win. He had an opportunity to rebound in his fight against Phillipe Nover this past Saturday night (Feb. 11). The […]

UFC Fight Night 208: Predictions Part 3

Wilson Reis Vs. Wilson Reis Vs. Ulka Sasaki

Upon cursory look, it may seem like the universe has cut some Wilson Reis some slack considering that his original opponent was none other than the formidable Demetrious Johnson, but Johnson picked up an injury and that fight had to go down the drain for the time being. However, this does not mean that Reis will not get any action. He is now rescheduled to fight Ulka Sasaki who is a Japanese mixed martial artist. Sasaki may not be on the same level as Demetrious Johnson but the 125 lb fighter who went pro back in 2010 is also capable of actually taking down Reis. Taking a look at Sasaki’s mixed martial record across all stages, he has a total of 24 fights under his belt of which he has managed to clinch 19 wins. He even has 2 knockouts to his name and you can rest assured that he is going to Reis a run for his money.

Phillipe Nover Vs. Rick Glenn

Rick Glenn is an ex WSOF featherweight champion and he came out the worst when he faced off against Evan Dunham, but Glenn now gets a chance to prove his mettle in his preferred 145 lbs weight division where he will take on Phillipe Nover, who in comparison to Dunham, is docile and might just be the perfect prey for Glenn to take advantage of and gain back his confidence.
