A Thai footballer has been sacked by his club after attacking an opponent with a nasty Muay Thai elbow in the final moments of a third division game.

Aitsaret Noichaiboon was chasing after the ball when it had gone out for a throw-in when he was cheekily tripped by Supasan Ruangsuphanimit. Noichaiboon lost his temper in the fifth minute of stoppage time as he chased his opponent before being caught on camera attacking the North Bangkok University player in the face with a brutal elbow.

Noichaiboon was immediately sent off by the referee following the violent outburst which left Ruangsuphanimit needing 24 stitches in the hospital.

Ruangsuphanimit had undergone a physical examination at Bangpakok-Rangsit 2 Hospital after the assault. His team informed that the player’s upper lip had a severe wound that the doctor needed 24 stitches to cover. The club will also provide care and responsibility for the injured player.

How did Bangkok FC handle the situation?

In a statement released by Bangkok FC, the club sacked Noichaiboon as the statement read: “Bangkok FC would like to take a stand and not support the action.

“The club has cancelled the contract of the player.

“The club would like to express our condolences for the incident and will do everything possible to stop this happening again.’ (via Daily Mail).

Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that Dana White is simply irreplaceable within the UFC, and he could not see the company’s future without him involved. Trump spoke on an episode of the Full Send Podcast and had this to say.

“I don’t know what would happen to the UFC without him. That’s one man. They say you can always replace somebody. I’m not sure if that man is replaceable.”

No one can argue White helped elevate not only the UFC but the entire sport to help it get to where it stands today. Trump has also had a close relationship to the UFC. Jorge Masvidal joined Donald Trump Jr. during his re-election campaign to promote ‘fighters against socialism’. The former president is known to have a close relationship with Masvidal’s opponent from this last weekend in Colby Covington having shared a picture together inside of the White House. According to reports Trump was supporting Jorge Masvidal heading into last weekends clash at UFC 272.

Donald Trump and Dana White have been acquainted since the now UFC president bought the promotion back with the Fertitta brothers. Trump can often be seen in attendance at UFC events and has offered out his facility at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City

The UFC boss openly supports trump and showed his support for the former president back in 2016 whilst delivering a speech at the Republican National Convention.

UFC President Dana White has shared his opinion on the ongoing situation involving Cain Velasquez.

Earlier this week, Cain Velasquez was arrested and charged with attempted murder along with nine other related charges, following an incident that occurred in San Jose. Velasquez allegedly fired a handgun into a truck occupied by Harry Goularte Jr along with two other people one of those being Goularte’s stepfather. Goularte Jr has been charged with molesting a close relative of Velasquez. The bullet struck Goularte’s stepfather however he is expected to survive the incident.

Velasquez is also accused of ramming the truck with his own truck after an 11-mile, high-speed car chase took place.

Goularte was arrested back in February after an alleged sexual assault on a minor which occurred at a childcare centre where Goularte was living. Following from this he was arrested and charged with multiple counts of lewd acts with a minor. It is claimed that at the time of the incident involving Cain Velasquez, Goularte was on his way to collect his court-ordered ankle monitor.

Dana White Shows Support For Cain Velasquez

Just like many people in the community UFC president Dana White showed his support towards Cain Velasquez and his current situation whilst speaking on Barstool sports.

“I obviously feel sorry for him and his family,” White said.

“It’s a horrible thing. I don’t know enough details to speak on it, but from what I’ve heard, you know, we all say we’d do it if it ever happened to us. Cain did it.” (transcribed by mmafighting.com)

The MMA community has gotten behind Cain Velasquez during this time, with many fellow parent-athletes within the MMA community agreeing with Velasquez’s actions.  Despite protest district attorney Jeff Rosen plans to continue with the charges as Cain Velasquez “took the law into his own hands, endangering the public and everyone in the truck.”

Velasquez is set to be arraigned on Monday 7th March.

Cain Velasquez was arrested on Monday following an altercation that took place in San Jose, California.

According to online reports it has now been revealed that Velasquez had been taken in due to a potential attempted murder charge after he shot at a car with three individuals in. One of the men inside the vehicle has recently been accused of molesting a close relative of Velasquez.

The accused man is Harry Eugene Goularte, who is also based in the California area, living at a home-day-care business that is run by his mother. According to online sources, court documents have revealed the alleged abuse to the individual may have occurred on over 100 separate occasions.

Goularte was arrested on Friday for a felony count of “a lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14.” However, Goularte would end up being released later despite objections from the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office.

Cain Velasquez Update

The incident allegedly took place three days following the release of Goularte. Online reports such as The Mercury-News have mirrored the statement that Velasquez began to open fire at a car carrying Goularte but instead struck another individual who was in the vehicle with him. The man who was hit was allegedly Goularte’s stepfather, who is expected to make a full recovery.

The identity of the third individual in the car is still unknown.

At this current time, Velasquez is being held in the Santa Clara County Main Jail without bail for attempted murder, with an arraignment scheduled to take place on Wednesday, per online records. There have been no announced charges put forward at this time

Cain Velasquez has been revealed as one of the men involved in a shooting in Morgan Hill.

Sources close to the story revealed the former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE star Cain Velazquez had some involvement but didn’t specify what exactly. Police are yet to reveal any information on the situation but have confirmed one man has been shot and taken to hospital with non-life-threating injuries whilst the other was arrested.

At the time Cain Velasquez was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail and being held there on bail. It hasn’t been confirmed what charges he is potentially facing.

Although he has been seen in promotions like the WWE in recent years, Velasquez had much of his success competing in mixed martial arts. Velasquez started his time of I the UFC well, finishing his opponent via 1st round TKO. He would continue this knockout streak as he climbed through the ranks stopping his next three opponents. A decision win over Cheick Kongo and TKO victories over Ben Rothwell and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira would position Velasquez nicely for a shot at the title.

A first round finish of Brock Lesner would see Velasquez become heavyweight champion of the world. However, things didn’t quite go to plan as he would lose his first defence to Junior Dos Santos.

A win over Antonio Silva threw Cain right back into the title picture. This time he would take Dos Santos the full distance before winning via decision and claiming back they heavyweight strap.

Velasquez would make two successful title defences over Antonio Silva again before closing out the trilogy with Don Santos by stopping him in their final matchup in the fifth round. He would then go onto lose the belt to Fabricio Werdum, before bouncing back with a TKO victory over Travis Browne.

Velasquez would be away from the sprot for three years before returning to face the at the time surging Francis Ngannou who would TKO the former heavyweight champion in less than thirty seconds to put a stop on Velasquez MMA career.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has won Celebrity Big Brother. The competition included the likes of Lamar Odom, Chris Kattan and Shanna Moakler amongst many other guests. The participants would live in the same house for three weeks to compete in challenges before beginning to vote each other out.

Miesha Tate started out strong in the competition, winning the first challenge and putting her in a position to place two people up for eviction. Throughout the competition, Tate looked like one of the stronger members so it was no surprise when she won in the final via a vote of 7-1 to claim the $250,000 prize.

Despite taking time away for the show, Tate is still as focused as ever on her MMA, and she will need to be given her next challenge comes in the form of Lauren Murphy in May.

Tate returned to the sport after being away for five years to TKO Marion Reneau in her return fight. She would then go on to lose a decision to Ketlen Viera before making the decision to change weight classes.

‘Cupcake’ had success in her current weight class, following her failed first attempt at securing the bantamweight title Tate would acquire a four-fight winning streak to earn herself another shot. Late in the 5th round, Tate sank in a rear-naked choke which would force the champion at the time Holly Holm to tap.

Her opponent currently sits at #3 in the flyweight rankings and will be looking to bounce back from her TKO loss to division champion Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 266. Prior to that loss, Murphy had accumulated a five-fight winning streak which included the likes of Andrea Lee, Roxanne Modafferi, and Joanne Wood.
