This is what happens when using your head goes horribly awry.

Two MMA fighters are both successful and horribly ineffective at the exact same time as they knock each other out with a horrendous headbutt.

A tip of the hat to Yahoo Sports who posted this video with some of the scant details we have about this amazing moment.

It apparently all went down in Poland in a weekend match between Marcin Mencel and Mateusz Zawadzki. When the dust cleared and the fighters were attended to, the fight was determined a technical draw.

As you can plainly see, the headbutts were accidental and not part of either fighter’s strategy. At least, that’s what it looks like to me.

It seems both go for a take down at the same time and drop to a crouch and attempt to engage, and that leads to quite the knockout blow for each.

If you listen carefully, you can almost hear the brutal coming together of noggins. That’s when one fighter hits the canvas and the other tries to get back on his legs.

As Maggie Hendricks who writes for Yahoo Sports writes, you can see exactly why headbutting is prohibited in MMA fights.

Those two are completely annihilated and it was all from an accidental maneuver that could have actually been much worse if used with full force.

Sometimes, you don’t want to use your head.

Dana White really knows how to take care of his fighters, making them all feel unique and well appreciated.

He’s just not good with names, or remembering to input them in mass mailings.

UFC fighter Darren Uyenoyama recently received a giant hug of appreciation in the form of a letter from Dan White, only it failed to include one specific item that would have made it perfect, the fighter’s name.

Instead, it was an obvious general letter that went out without “fighter” being changed to “Darren Uyenoyama.”

Here is the letter as sent to the masses via the 33-year old’s Instagram feed.

And there were those who picked up on the gaffe right away, as Chris Nelson did via Twitter.

The missive from his boss no doubt resulted from Uyenoyama‘s efforts back on October 5, when he beat Phil Harris at a UFC on FX event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Fighters go out and kill themselves in the gym and on the mat, trying to get better and lengthen their careers.

The sacrifice is immense and rewards can be few and far between, so it’s nice that the man behind UFC is kind enough to show some thanks.

Still, you would think he would learn his fighter’s names.

Arianny Celeste boggles the brain in a mind-numbing music video for Manufactured Superstars’ new song, “Top of the World.”

Thanks to With Leather for spotting a video that rests comfortably between extremely annoying and infinitely frustrating with the need to watch it.

There is no easy way to explain what is going on in the music video, but that should hardly deter anyone from taking it all in.

It’s MMA Octagon lovely, Arianny Celeste. I mean, they pretty much hand these types of videos out at adolescence.

The video basically comes in as two space dudes are busy creating a machine Arianny Celeste, completely unaffected by the singing she is doing.

It seems this android is doing as it has been made to do, and that scares us.

She is then shot to Earth by a lightning bolt, completely clothed. If there were ever a need to have Terminator rules enforced for people being transported via time or energy bolt, this would be it.

It seems Celeste’s entire mission is to dupe some guy into marrying her so that he might be transported up into space with the space dudes who created her.

It’s the kind of plot that infuriates.

Why didn’t they just beam this guy up in the first place? Why do these DJ dudes want this guy up in space? Where did Arianny Celeste go? Why does Vegas look so depressing?

Why do I care?

Polish Kickboxer Drops Opponent Immediately with Devastating Kick to Face

One kickboxer enters the ring with a devastating move. The other, not so much.

Busted Coverage had this video and we just had to feature it here. There isn’t much in the way of information, so I welcome any of you who have more details to sound off in the comments section below.

It seems these are two Polish MMA fighters. Well, one is. The other seems content to be a kickboxing fan with the best and worst seats in the house.

He is the closest to the action so he gets to see this epic kick to the face better than anyone. The bad news, for him, is he is also the one getting kicked in the face.

You know the one who gets knocked out is in trouble before the round even begins. The victor is just lounging in the corner with the swag of a man who is about to shock the world.

The loser is kind of just moving awkwardly in his corner, wondering how he got talked into a kickboxing fight without the ability to block anything.

As soon as the fighter with the Clayton Kershaw beard goes into kick, the young man in the white shorts feels likes it’s a good idea to duck toward the oncoming leg.

And then the lights suddenly go out for our kickboxing hopeful.

There is no counting from the official, because he is visibly done for the night. And that is why it’s best to watch kickboxing on TV like the rest of us.

The Queen of UFC octagon girls continues to build her brand away from the mammoth MMA organization.

Her latest is a cover on a brand new magazine.

The Sportress of Blogitude spotted quite the spread featuring our favorite ring girl turned model, Arianny Celeste.

As you will soon see, the new magazine she is ushering in with her beauty is off to a fantastic start. You can take a gander at The Stndrd at their official website and decide for yourself if your interest extends well beyond this first issue.

Unfortunately, when you head to the feature with Celeste, they give the ultimate teaser.

The Goddess of the Ring has a lot more to offer than just being a “Ring Girl” and she tells the stndrd all about those other attributes.

It’s as if Celeste will give all of life’s secrets in the new issue, like what exactly were the Nazis seeing at the end of Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark?

The magazine’s Facebook page gives us a little more on what to expect in each and every issue with, “covering everything you crave from beautiful women to video games and movies.”

Well, yes. That does sound like some things we may be interested in.

A quick jaunt around the website shows that there isn’t much in the way of features at the moment, but they are certainly headed in the right direction with a feature on UFC and its most famous ring girl.

Beware the rolling head kick, because it’s quite a doozy

Big Lead Sports spotted this video of a Russian MMA event wherein one fighter basically pulled off the finishing move to end all moves.

The fighter falls to the ground immediately, making way for a foot that comes out of nowhere and smashes the face of his opponent.

I am talking smashed

Be warned that the video may be NSFW for blood towards the end of the video.

Well, I should have warned you against that blank stare the bleeding man gives at the end of the video. It’s frightening to see someone so out of sorts.

But hey, what about that kick?

The Big Lead Sports report issues that this is just some random event in Russia, and the YouTube description is just as vague (via Google Translate)

26 Aug. 2012. Tyumen qualifying tournament held in the Union Rossii. Finally, MMA fight up to 70 kg. KO won Mikhail Balakirev, 18-year-old (Tyumen MMA trained by Mukhamedshina O.Kh.)

The only thing I can think of the loser in this match saying is, “So you are telling me that a foot did this to me? What year is this again?”

This move is simply epic, and I would love to see more from you MMA fans who may have seen it elsewhere or know more about this event that left one man wondering what train just hit him.
