Last month, it was revealed that Bruce Lee would be a playable fighter in EA Sports’ UFC video game. Now, fans can catch a glimpse of what the legend will look like in action.
In the video, UFC President Dana White and title-holders Jon Jones and Anthony Pettis also talk about what Lee meant to mixed martial arts.
Not a bad way to get fans excited before the game’s release in June.

This video should serve as a reminder that sometimes, the baddest man in the cage isn’t one of the two fighters but the referee tasked with managing all of the captivating action.
Bob’s Blitz spotted this video featuring Ahmad Aswad and Nathias Frederick making their appearance onFIGHT UK MMA – Last Man Standing.
But this video isn’t about the fighters, their budding careers or what appears to be a swift knockout blow from Frederick. It’s about the third party who was in the cage with the two MMA fighters: referee Leon Roberts.
With 40 seconds left in the fight, Frederick drops a devastating left just a moment after connecting with a right. Aswad goes down, and his opponent follows to guarantee this bout has reached its very quick end.
Next Impulse Sports’ Kiley Kmiec spotted this video, breaking down the part that comes at about six minutes, 25 seconds into the above video: “At that moment referee Leon Roberts took it upon himself to make sure it didn’t continue. Just watch and enjoy the great form displayed by the referee who is not to be trifled with.”
Kmiec isn’t the only one impressed with the form, because one announcer chimes in with praise: “Leon Roberts with the slickest back take I have ever seen from an official.”
His colleague counters with, “Anybody who says refs don’t train, watch that.”
The two then take a second to let the remaining moments breathe, making sure of the result before adding any analysis. One announcer notes that Frederick already had the win, intimating the fighter could have been penalized for continuing to pound away.
We couldn’t track down any word from either fighter, but the embrace shared prior to the announcement of Frederick’s victory surely illustrates there was no ill will from either party.
Frederick, it would surely seem, was just caught up in the moment and proceeded to land blow after blow well after it was necessary.
Thankfully, there is a fail-safe in the form of one hulking official with the moves to guarantee a modicum of safety amid a knockout.
Roberts may not have his name by the decision in the fight, but he certainly delivered the most memorable submission of the bout.

UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov had a blast from the past recently when he squared off against a bear.
If that sounds familiar, you aren’t crazy.
As a child, Nurmagomedov held his own against a bear:
Though the Instagram video only offered a clip of the wrestling match, here’s to hoping that the Russian sambo specialist took it easy on his much smaller opponent.

Even on his days off, The Ultimate Fighter 19 competitor CathalPendred finds a way to stay busy.
While taking a walk on the beach on Sunday morning, the Irish mixed martial artist noticed a crowd of concerned people.
We saw a big crowd of people down by the water and we walked down to see what was happening. We were told by the other people looking on that there was a baby dolphin that was quite injured and kept getting pushed back to shore by the waves. There was a man in the water trying to help the dolphin and I went in to help. The man told me he had been there for a wile trying to push him back out but the dolphin kept getting washed back in. The man said he was now exhausted so I told him I would take over trying to help.
Pendred then sprung into action. Up against ocean currents and rocky terrain, the fighter did his best to get the beached dolphin back into the water.
He shared additional details about his adventure, via Martin:
I continued trying to push the dolphin out past the waves but he continued to get washed back in. He was bleeding and had a lot of cuts so I think it was due to these injuries that he wasn’t strong enough to swim past the break.
At one point the current dragged him into a very rocky, shallow area of the beach and the dolphin became stuck. I couldn’t push him as his underside was scratching off the rocks and cutting him. So that’s when I picked up the dolphin and brought him to a deeper, less rocky area. I eventually was able to push him out past the waves and into the deeper part of the water. I stayed around for a while to make sure he wasn’t brought back in. And when I realized he wasn’t going to getting washed back, I headed for the hotel because I was wet and freezing.
It was a struggle, but Pendred was able to get the job done in about an hour.
Whether or not he goes on to win this season of TUF, Pendred undoubtedly gained some fans with this selfless act.
