Yesterday BJ Penn called out Jake Shields via Twitter and the two tweeted back and forth trying to pitch their fight. Today, John Hathaway joined in with a tweet asking to meet Penn in the Octagon, as well:

Interesting to get all these tweet outs now that Zuffa has implemented bonus incentives for the fighters to step up their social media use. But maybe Hathaway should make his desire clear. When you say, “Hitman” you aren’t referring to fellow Welterweight, Martin “Hitman” Kampmann, right? Why do these guys have the same nickname? Isn’t there a copyright?
