He’s young, he’s brash and the kid can fight.

Since his return to lightweight, Nate Diaz has been on a tear, running through his last three opponents. It’s this kind of dominance in the UFC that has earned him a title shot against resilient champ Benson Henderson.

Since first appearing on The Ultimate Fighter Season 5, Diaz has shown that his skills as a fighter have improved leaps and bounds, and he is no longer just Nick’s Diaz little brother. With his title shot just days away, his ultimate goal is within reach.

“The Ultimate Show” sat down with Nate Diaz to hear his thoughts on his next opponent, Benson Henderson, and what he plans to do come Saturday, December 8 in Seattle.

UFC on Fox 5 Preview: Nate Diaz, Joey Beltran Exclusives Plus Pat Barry’s Moves

UFC is just days away from one of the year’s biggest fight cards, and this time it’s free on Fox. Benson “Smooth” Henderson will make his second title defense in the Octagon against the brash, young Nate Diaz this Saturday night in Seattle.

But before the main event, two legends will start on their paths back to relevance. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will face off against Swedish sensation Alexander Gustafsson in the co-main event. Gustafsson is riding a five-fight win streak and hopes for a potential title shot against Jon Jones if all goes well for him. Shogun is looking to put himself back in title-shot-contention talk after losing the belt to Jones back in March of 2011.

B.J. Penn steps back inside the Octagon after nearly a year to go up against the young and hungry Rory MacDonald.

The always-entertaining Pat Barry stops by to show us how to throw a strike from the inside for the Move of the Week. Joey Beltran checks in with The Ultimate Show this week to give us his thoughts on everything from fighting in the UFC to what his fans can expect on fight night.

Also, Nate Diaz stops by to give us some insight on what he is doing to prepare for an opponent like Benson Henderson.
