The winner will take on UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos sometime next year with the coveted title belt on the line.

The co-main event has “show stealer” written all over it when lightweights Donald Cerrone and Nate Diaz clash in a bout that has some bad blood behind it.

Jon Fitch makes his return on this card against fellow accomplished college wrestler Johny Hendricks, where the winner will undoubtedly enter the title discussion.

In a classic case of a wily veteran vs. a young up-and-comer, Vladimir “The Janitor” Matyushenko takes on Alexander “The Mauler” Mustafsson in a bout that could propel the winner into the top 10 of the division.

The main card begins when Nam Pham takes on undefeated grappling ace Jimy Hettes, who is looking to go 2-0 in the UFC on this occasion.

Lesnar and Overeem are prepared to meet in a five-round non-title bout that will headline UFC 141 this Friday night. Both men are entering the bout with the intention of challenging for the UFC heavyweight title in the future.

Lesnar is returning after a second encounter with diverticulitis and holds a record of 5-2 inside the Octagon. This bout will mark the UFC debut of Overeem, who has held multiple titles in different organizations and is currently riding a 10-fight winning streak.

Also scheduled for the co-main event slot is a bout between Donald Cerrone and Nate Diaz. The fighters squared off in a heated confrontation during the conference, with Diaz shoving his opponent. UFC President Dana White was able to immediately step in and break it apart.

Although they were not in attendance, welterweights Jon Fitch and Johny Hendricks are slated to meet on the main card as well.

UFC 141 is live this Friday night from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

He’s transitioned his amateur wrestling credentials into powerful wrestling and superb top control. The fighters on this list all have the same traits with their wrestling.

Some guys look more for submissions while others look to ground and pound their opponent’s head through the mat, but all use their wrestling to succeed in the Octagon.

He tells us there is a Brazilian saying to never tap out, and thinks it was Nogueira’s choice to suffer a broken arm, as well as Machida’s to be choked out. Junior admits he would never allow himself to get hurt on purpose rather than tap. He also gets a chance to tell about the UFC‘s newest charitable organization, It Aint Chemo, where he was able to train with children afflicted with the disease. Watch the interview below:
